THIS IS THE GLITCHIEST FUCKING GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED GOD FUCKING DAMN
Moon Studios suck FUCKING DICK
THIS IS THE GLITCHIEST FUCKING GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED GOD FUCKING DAMN
Moon Studios suck FUCKING DICK
Honestly feels more like an expansion to the first game than a true sequel.
works on my machine
This game is a better sequel to its predecessor than a lot of fucking games out there. It wraps up the story pretty well.
agreed, even main menu is the same, what the fuck they were doing 5 fucking years
is it really? man I might have gotten lucky but I'm near the end on pc and the game ran great, even before the patch.
Is the combat the same too? Telling lies Sonybro?
>yfw this game manages to tell a better story than The Lesbians of Us
Idk why people were upset about the combat, it's as fluid as the movement. Unless you're trying to power through attacks like a retard and actually use different weapons it's pretty fun.
Only gripe was the ending, felt like every character got stuck with a sucky conclusion, especially ori
They did a good job designing the Moki, they're really cute.
did you even play the first game nigger?
how are you going to defend the game without actually knowing shit?
kys
huh?
works on my machine, maybe you have a shitty toaster
>no graphics settings
seriously?
did you? it plays like a sequel, in what way does it play like an expansion
91 metascore :)
But there are?
I play it on xbone and it straight up stutters every few minutes and sometimes freezes for a good 5 seconds
there was a patch?
Whoa there, snoycuck. What's the matter? Why so triggered?
So this is your first videogame, hot you.
Nice choice but should have started with the first ori.
>he didn't play the first game before the definitive edition
casual scum
>Unity game doesn't run that well
wow who would have thought!
It's the ultimate "works on my machine" game.
Sound bug until I put it on my SSD. Runs at 4K 60 FPS but actually using a lot of my GPU to do it. The game is flawless for me, but can understand why it isn't for others.
>More hard Hannibal cope
Outside of the occasional stutter it runs fine for me. Just wish there was a way to disable the resolution scaling on backgrounds and some other objects.
Either way, I'm enjoying the fuck out of this game so far. Played the first one a few years back and enjoyed that too, but the combat improvements alone really make this one better imo. Just got through the silent forest, didn't expect to be crying 5 hours into the game.
It's like recore. Horrible startup with way too long loading but once you are in everything is dandy.
It's usually OK for 2D games, but Ori is actually using a lot of 3D assets too. I hate this piece of shit engine but fuck I love both games.
I swear my performance got worse after the patch.
So what's the deal with grapple and bash being the same button? Is it really supposed to be that shitty? That charm where you can grapple enemies might as well not even exist with this in mind.
I kept failing on the windmill escape because I ran into a dead end, turns out it was glitched so that the hole in the wheel was missing and I had to restart the game
Never had an issue with this.
And no that upgrade charm is one of the best because it opens up even more combos and air juggles then you have by default.
How do you not have an issue with it? You try to bash an enemy but you grapple them instead. What are you doing different than me?
I'm at 70%, 0 glitches
this first wolf boss fight - am i retarded? there is literally nowhere for me to go in the arena. what am i supposed to do? i end up face tanking it and get wrekt. yes i suck at games pls help
The only glitch I experienced at around 60% in is having to restart the game because ori is suddenly extremely floaty. I could just use weapons anywhere and float midair forever.
The distance you dork. Grapple is when you far away, bash is when you are literally on them.
It's a little weird that they throw you into that with barely any movement options to get away. I just ran in, attack once or twice, then run back. Seems like they really should have given you dash by then.
Jump a little up to the right and stick to the wall. His first swing will miss that way. Then you have enough time to go into his face to 3 hit combo him with your torch. Then it resets.
It's gotta be bugged because that's what I figured would be the case, but I'm an inch in front of them and I still grapple. So close that the grapple animation will play but Ori doesn't actually move if I'm on the ground.
Wait in the corner until he jumps forward then attack him so he jumps back
I used warp on a closed plant in the snow area. It opened up just as I got teleported. I then spawned as white dying mass in a fountain. Could not move and only teleport to another fountain.
Going too meno to reload fixed that.
Hammer just seems like the best weapon in the game, arrows seem like they have the best damage output but need to be fully upgraded and take up 2 of your slots. With hammer you can even easily boost up into the air.
So when my XGP thing expires and I want to buy this on Steam sale later, is there any way I can transfer my save? Usually that's simple but I think the XGP version is UWP, not exe. I don't know if they encrypt that too like they do the game files.
Just buy the winstore version. The fat fuck gaben doesn't deserve 30% for this awesome game.
Same thing happened to me
This game is the only reason I'm glad I forgot to cancel XGP
It's really good when melee combat is viable yeah. Against the water boss I was using fireball and in later phase spear because I couldn't get into hammer range without gewtting hit first.
switch port when
>healing in load out
you fucking shitter.
>trying to move through frozen area
>stuck with nowhere to go
>go to water area
>stuck unable to get past an underwater section with no air pockets, bubbles, and 3 underwater crushing stones.
fugg
Fire torch is actually the best weapon in the game because you can spam air upper and even float using it. the damage output is super high and the continuous fire status effect does good bonus damage.
I also have the damage reduction skill and play on normal. :^)
Now that I have fireball I have that permanently in . I did not feel bow and fireburst.
In water section keep a look out for bubble spawners with a seastar on them. That was what had me stuck for a few minutes.
There's soup in the frozen area. Use the feather to heat it up and itll spit out a thing you can bash into a flaming altar that will open up a new area and ability.
The water section has a boost ability you need to find. It should be after a part of the underwater tunnels that have one of the crushy blocks in em along with a light container.
You can really see the Hollow Knight influence in this game. I mean that in a good way, although I still think Hollow Knight is better overall, although I played it when it was fully complete with the 4 DLCs made.
are you niggering me, nigger?
Read the reply chain you mongoloid
Is this good without a controller? I don't remember how I played the first one
No glitches here AND I'm enjoying the fuck out of the game.
I beat the whole thing with nothing but a controller.
Yes but I am asking if it is playable without a controller.
STFU retard.
Play more games.
I remember the first game played well with a keyboard so give it a go.
