If you're going to use physical media in the first world, at the very least use BD-R.

I'm just a few years younger than him and not even remotely as technically retarded and inept. This dude is a special kind of retard, not a typical "boomer lmao."

I got to like level 40 in wow before i learned what talent points were. This was as a noob in like 2009. Its not like There was a message popping up explaining it. Had no idea.

I got Ducktales for NES at a yardsale with no manual. Had no clue about some of the basic mechanics for a long time.

i don't get it, what did he do

What fucking editing software does James use? Surely he's using Adobe or something right?

James is an out-of-touch boomer. Mike Matei is a chad.

Attached: McChad.jpg (1200x901, 192.03K)

He said years ago final cut pro
Who knows now effects were done in adobe after effects

You can press and hold to drink in the fallout games instead of spamming it.

>miniSD in 2019

What the FUCK

Attached: what.png (250x330, 150.64K)

He thinks bluray "lacks quality". He only started using dvds in like 2010, he was using fucking vhs until then.

>final cut pro
Oh my God

I remember when I found this out was shocked

I didn't realise you could choose to make premium deliveries in Death Stranding until I finished the game.

Attached: 1583970910810.png (534x712, 831.62K)

Isn't quality reliant in the bitrate of the files themselves?

Your mind fills in the gaps
Wat?

I got to level 60 in world of warcraft classic before I learned that you could drink water and eat food at the same time, thought you could only consume one or the other.

I can remember playing FF8 as a kid without ever using Card Mod. Fuck, that sucked.

I beat Super Mario RPG without knowing about timed blocks. When Toad asked if I knew about timed hits I said yes because I remembered reading about them in nintendo power.

not years but when I played Ninja Gaiden 2 I didn't realize you could just scale up/down walls, I thought you had to do that crazy up-the-wall-hop like in Ninja Gaiden 1

This is inevitable playing grand strategy games. All the time people with thousands of hours will find out about entire new mechanics because the games are so ridiculously mechanic-laden and just by getting it half-right, even less, you will look like you're playing almost perfectly.

Final Cut Pro blows. Then again I haven't used it in years so maybe its gotten less ass.

i finished Ninja Gaiden Sigma without using ninpos

Is he retarded?

theres one that I am really embarrassed about

You know how you can jump attack the first boss in dark souls when you jump off the ledge? Well for some reason I for some reason didnt even bother to do it on the second boss because i completely forgot about that mechanic and I remember the first time I played dark souls I was really frusterated because i couldnt beat him. I played it recently a few months ago and I accidentally did a jump attack on him and now I feel like a retard because it would have saved me alot of trouble

nothing, james hasn't edited an episode himself in a decade, mike did everything after rob, till the fat slobs were hired, they do it all now. James just shows up and records his shit then leaves.

>2009
>post-wrath

There literally is a fucking notification that pops up at level 10 you absolute rectumranger

Thought you had to tap the boost button in the Sonic Heroes special stages, didn't realise you could hold it.

Attached: 1581861091432.jpg (182x278, 7.88K)

It was like late tbc. I dont remember the exact year.

Yes, BD only stand for bigger space in the end, not the quality of the content on it.
DVDs can have 4,7GB of quality content while BDs can have 50GB of quality content.
Not counting DVD DLs or 100GB BluRays

i finished doom 3 xbox without knowing there was a run button
probably a bit terrifying for enemies considering all i did was walk and chainsaw

Has nobody told him hard drives can hold a lot more than dvds?

I will never understand why people hate blu rays
>”they have worse looking menus and don’t have special features”
Newer dvds have the same content as the blu rays. And those that have said content are just reprints from the early 2000’s

Oh look a free ipad

I met a guy in wow who thought you had to have your spellbook open to use spells. This was in vanilla wow, not the new vanilla. My buddy and I were ina dungeon and we asked the healer why it took him so long to heal and he said the heals were on different pages so he had to turn to page. We were like wtf, he explained how he didn’t like the wow interface and the spellbook took up half the screen. We then told him you can drag the spells out of the book and put them on the action bar. He literally didn’t believe us then tried and immediately told us to get in vent. He thanked us and asked us other things that he may not know. He felt retarded naturally but his heals improved drastically.

Going by he probably thinks HDDs are of very low quality or can't be recorded to.

Fast forward in warband
Pivoting in Azure dreams

so what did angry videogame retard miss in majoras mask?

not really a major mechanic but I just recently found out that the armoured boars in Dark Souls have a backstab spot. I have played this game so long for so many times and I never managed to get a backstab even though I always attack the ass part.

>fast forward in warband
WHAT
>pivoting in azure dreams
FUCKING WHAT?!

>they have worse looking menus and don’t have special features
What? It's literally just a disc of data, you can have anything you want there

>Pivoting in Azure dreams
How far did you get, lol

Is this motherfucker actually using DVDs in the year 2020?

Tech retards don't know this user

I played Fire Warrior when I was 8 and didn't realize it was set in 40k until I found the cover buried in a closet last year.

Attached: Warhammer40kfwbox.jpg (266x375, 22.58K)

That is a good one!
I am trying to think of them myself, But will probably find 1000s of cases before this thread 404`s

he actually bought arrows at the shop instead of rolling over grass with goron

I do. But I live in a shithole and my Blu-ray Disc drive doesn't read fucking BD-Rs.

target lock on in dark souls

you know you can buy things online right?

I didn't know i could point survivors in dead rising to a specific area.

Sweep kick in Mario 64
Nearly everything new champs have in league of legends

Not from overseas in my country.

Not a gameplay mechanic, but I was oblivious to the fact the JP version of Azure Dreams has extensive voice acting.

the squid totally beefed it

In Xenoblade Chronicles I was having trouble with the final boss until I realized that only the active skill tree has any effect in battle. Stomped 'em pretty hard after that.

I always forget that people in other countries don’t have amazon prime. Feelsbadman.jpeg

Why the fuck do people refuse to move to blu ray after all of these years. it wasn’t such a problem for people moving from vhs to dvd.
Most people waste money on 4K TVs but refuse to buy shit that actually supports 4K.

I only discovered Dark Souls had different roll speeds depending upon your equip burden in anal rodeo, until then I thought fatrolling was all there was.

I got through the main questline in New Vegas without knowing you could repair and mod weapons, how to wait/sleep, how to pick up and move physics items, and that you could get companions.

My sister did that. Bought a 4K tv and was watching dvds on her non upscale DVD player. I told her to buy a cheap 4K Blu-ray player and to buy blue ray dvds from now on.

No. All that comes to mind is that I didn't understand how to equip materia until sometime post-Midgar(probably for the chocobo). Theres times that I've known about a mechanic but just not been able to do it because my reactions have always been bad, parrying or ki pulse for exampe

Attached: images.jpg (238x212, 8.01K)

I never use companions because i'm paranoid the game will bug out, making them disappear. It happened to me in Oblivion once and I refuse to do it in any Bethesda game now

For anyone curious, this is the problem with my drive.

tons of content creators from his era actually know fucking nothing about proper video recording and editing, because it really wasn't necessary when they got big.
It is honestly only a pretty recent thing that internet personalities actually have to start being good at these things, as being professional in that respect is a good way of setting yourself apart from the billion other zoomers trying to do the exact same thing as you.

What country doesn't have amazon prime?

I got embarrassingly far in MG:R without understanding parry timing.

poland i think

Ignorance is truly a bliss

I didn't know about physical special split in Pokemon I just assumed each attack was based on attack or special on whether it was a "physical" attack or not, which is basically how it ended up being implemented so it really threw me off when I learned how it actually worked in the older games. Houndoom used Crunch well of course that's based on attack right how could it not be? started with gen 1 btw.

Countries without Amazon.

it's never happened to me. worst case scenario they'll just wait for you in the Lucky 38 or something and you'll have to come back for them.

that's not a country, that's a german territory

He went to special ed school so yeah kinda. I also heard one of his kids is retarded

I played through a large chunk of Dark Souls 2 without finding the Emerald Herald

almost all of them. Europe and America are a minority.

>Welcome

Is that an invitation to fuck his gf?

>you could just scale up down walls
I'm sorry?

so all of them except for Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador? huh.

It's consent, you don't even have to ask.

t. A lawyer.

Ecks dee.

I beat Paper Mario TTYD without knowing about the flourishes you can do at the end of moves for extra star power. Come at me, bro!

>Fallout games now refers to Fallout 3 and onward

i had to admire his tenacity.

>why are blurays worse than dvds?
>the menus
holy FUCKING SHIT

zoom zoom

Of course, why wouldn't the games in the series that are infinitely more popular and are the standard for the series from now on be used as the standard?

I beat The Last of Us without using the see through walls shit on my first playthrough. Completely forgot about it after the game teach you (horribly) how to use it.
Naughty Dog used to be so great at integrative game design, but now? It's been a shit show for a number years.

Description:
>Cinemassacre Shirts, DVDs, and Blu-rays
What did he mean by this?

He's right about blurays

How so

Couldn't finish the game, had to restart on very easy. Can never go back to the game out of the shame of it

Attached: 681bd317c103980720ad5b23473c47b0.jpg (752x1063, 182.64K)

i frequently beat my roommate at MKX and ive never once learned how to do a special move. i main jax and bo rai cho

Sekiro. I made it to the second fight with Genichiro before I learned you could sprint.

It's what we call a "hypocrite". He hates Blu-Rays for absolutely nonsensical reasons, yet will use them to sell his trash.
