Minor update, replacing the link to the original deckbuilder to the one that fixes cards in packs/decks not being generated. Hopefully no one has an issue with switching sites.
Also, since we're coming up on the last four or so days of the season, it's probably a good idea if we start discussing what the next season might add or change in more detail. What to do with pack cost/size/content next time is probably a good start. Something else that's also come up here and there as of late is the idea of ways to obtain KC besides just dueling for it. Stuff like spectators being able to bet on shadow games, or having newer players who started later already begin with a certain amount of KC.
Once the new season starts, I'll probably begin putting Yas Forums plays in the subject again.

There probably has to be some sort of time/date-based component to it, if only to distinguish who actually qualifies as a "new" player, and hence deserves a bonus to help give them a running start. Or if not that, then probably some other criteria? (win count, total games, etc.)

Or just make the first pack 1, second 2, third 3 and fourth 4 KC. Gives you a quick initial boost that you still, sort of, have to work for.

I think the first packs costing more/less is hard to keep track of, rolling 5 at the start makes the math easier and frontloads the bonus making it easier for new players
