Kain will be black, but the bigger offense will be his afro.

>No option in Remastered for less-retarded AI / unit pathing

I dig it.

>You'll actually launch the two games separately.
>We don't have anything to announce about LAN today.
>We've actually added difficulty levels to the campaign for Tiberian Dawn, along with Skirmish mode with AI difficulty levels as well. We did keep many of the AI behaviors the same, but have fixed a few AI bugs along the way.
>Right now, Steam players will need to link to an EA Account upon first bootup. However, they will not need the Origin Client installed
>The Map Editor can create both single-player and multiplayer maps.
>The only DRM is the standard Origin and Steam authentication. (For example, no Denuvo)
>Yes you can adjust the game speed for yourself in both Campaign and Skirmish, and then the Host can choose it for everyone in Multiplayer.
>We are not officially supporting Windows 7, but it should run perhaps with some minor issues. We're only focused on Windows PC, with support for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
>I have to be honest, I think AI is going to be our white-whale for this project. We were able to bring Skirmish AI to Tib Dawn, but we found it challenging to improve certain AI mechanics. We instead decided to focus on other community requested features.
>We've decided to keep the balance and map sizes the same as the legacy titles. The Tib Dawn maps support four players, while certain Red Alert maps support up to eight players.

Some notes of interest from their Twatter AMA.

When was this lore introduced? I haven't played any of the Command and Conquer games, so I'm actually curious.

i preordered the collectors edition.
I want that fucking metal mammoth tank

e-sports when ?
I want to see this shit on ESPN, at the olympics. You name it.

Red alert 1, because its set ages before Tib dawn.
and later in Renegade, in the nod temple mission where you can find Abels grave.

So a bunch of faggots can complain about balance and ruin the game? No thanks

FTFY

Apparently estimated to be about 3.5" tall going by one of the other twits, which is larger than I was expecting. Also Steam codes apparently? I figure they would have pushed Origin codes on the physical stuff.

you can't kill the Messiah

Pretty sure they support the America First party. Brotherhood is that ideal socially conservative but economically liberal party we want.

>Ideology: To unite third-world nations under a pseudo-religious political platform with imperialist tendencies. In actuality it is an aggressive and popular neo-fascist, anti-West movement vying for total domination of the world's peoples and resources. Operates under the popular mantra, "Brotherhood, unity, peace".

I wonder who could be behind this post.

Nod means "to wonder", so we can presume the Brotherhood is officially against the existence of the state of Israel.

Hmm.

just gotta down some tib dust and hope you don't die

It's called evolution. It's eugenics.

Nod is the land kain went to after killing abel

>that NOD uniform and guitar
total kino

The remaster looks pretty good. But then I look at my complete physical collection on my shelf, and while it doesn't quite impact the quality of the remaster itself, the fact that I have physical copies of all the games that all work offline and aren't tied to online server platforms. It really stings to know that this shit will be digital only and require a damn EA account.

Daily reminder that the campaigns last like 3-4 hours at most, most of the levels without a base are pure RNG and the multiplayer was usually decided within the first 10 minutes and the rest of the match was just a fucking slog

Should have remastered Red Alert 2

>>We don't have anything to announce about LAN today.
Why is LAN being dropped/erased from every game ever?

beacuse with proper LAN you wouldnt need to use their silly little accounts (and shiet) and they cant stand that

I still can't pass that defend gap generator mission
:(

Because then publishers can't control whether you can continue to play the game multiplayer a decade after release.

>We are not officially supporting Windows 7, but it should run perhaps with some minor issues. We're only focused on Windows PC, with support for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
Whenever people say this it's basically code for "it'll work fine on Win7 but don't expect any updates for it that are specific to the OS"

EA still has the rights for the Dune games right? I want a Dune 2000 remaster.

Nod means "to wonder". It means he was condemned to wonder the Earth

I think you mean wander

It's usually a case of "If it works, hey bonus, but if a future update breaks it, you're out of luck".

Well in the case of AoE2DE they said they will undo anything that intentionally breaks the win7 ver

I think the Dune trademark belongs to the Dino De Laurentiis company. Both Dune 2000 and Emperor: Battle for Dune are in legal limbo, that's why they weren't released on any digital stores to this day.

That's because the games heavily used the costume design and imagery from the Lynch movie, I believe.

Yes, my mistake

To this day I'd still like a proper Dune movie, and not one that basically cut out half of the novel and then rushed the remainder. It'd have to be a two/three parter or some shit.

>Joe Kucan not rising again
THE TIBERIAN SON HAS RISEN

user, they're literally doing that right now. This year an adaptation of the first half of the book is coming out, with the second half later.

Well fuck me. Here's to hoping it's proper diplomacy/politics shit instead of ACTION ACTION ACTION like say, NuTrek movies.

The reason you might not have heard of it is because there has been complete silence about the movie, not even a trailer. All we know is some of the cast and that the Blade Runner 2049 director is directing it.

makes sense

That's how it works for every movie. There's no trailers or promotional material during pre-production and production, unless you are on a clown studio like Disney, then you have re-shoots and editing going on up to a month before release.

>There's no trailers or promotional material during pre-production and production
user, the movie is done. They won't even talk about it, and apparently it's because there's a media blackout on it.

Thanks for repeating what I just said. No, it didn't raise your IQ.

>EA
I want to believe this wont be shit
but I cant
I cant trust EA
