Sekiro has ruined any other action game for me. Nioh 2 is a lot of fun, but nothing will ever top Sekiro, and it's constantly in my mind.

For me, it's Mikiri counters.

very based OP, some people are gay and hate this game though. expect them in this thread.

you only like it because it has big black cocks in it

Sekiro is the perfect souls game. It has next to no customization or RPG elements, but its combat is perfected to a science.

good thing i'm going to play nioh 2 before playing sekiro then

It runs like shit on my PC tho. Drops to 45fps in some places. Still beat the game though. I'll just replay it again when I upgrade to 5700xt from my RX 570.

I didn't like Sekiro.
The gameplay being centered around passively parrying the enemy's attack until you get a QTE prompt isn't fun in the slightest.
I dropped it at the final boss when I realized that he's invincible unless you build a perfect parry chain and I simply can't.

There's not even a single black person in sekiro

Only a couple of shitposters
Sekiro is universally praised

there is tons of big black cocks though

Sekiro is a really shallow action game though.

>45fps
I finally made it playable by locking fps to 30fps with MSI Afterburner. No more fps jumps. No stuttering. No lagging. Everything works like a charm.

Settings > On-Screen Display > More > Add Sekiro.exe > Set Framerate limit 30 > Save

Keep MSI Afterburner running while playing Sekiro.

Your welcome.

____'s ___

Genichiro? You don't need to deflect ever attack of his chain, just a few.
>QTE
There's usually a couple of ways of dealing with perilous attacks, and in Gen's case that holds true.

there literally is one

Bought it last weekend and can't stop playing it. But I wish some enemies weren't so reliant on hyper armour, or at least had the decency to deflect my attack before going into a hyper armour attack (looking at you Isshin).

who was black in sekiro?

how about reading the post you're replying too, he never said person.

Jinzaemon Kumano

Roberto

>passively parrying
that's now how you're supposed to play, it's a mixture of parrying when they're on the offensive and attacking when they fuck up, since attacking them, even when they block, still builds posture. This game literally succeeded where bloodborne failed, by being an actual aggressive combat system.

>build a perfect parry chain
also not true, I'm a literal boomer and I beat swordsaint at NG+ charmless with bell on, if I can do it, anyone can.

True, but thank god Sekiro is a masterpiece so you can at least not have to worry about it.

roberto's dad* was hispanic, unless you're saying his wifes son is black

was he black? pretty sure he just had tanned skin for a jap, kinda like abe lincoln

>This game literally succeeded where bloodborne failed, by being an actual aggressive combat system.
I feel they could do something to improve the health and healing system, if they ever make a sequel. Backing off to take a sippy just doesn't feel right with such an otherwise aggressive game, and From seem to agree since every other boss has a fuck you and your healing move. The gourd just feels like a tacked on legacy feature.

yeah, if they do something similar to BB's system where if you attack quickly enough you can heal a bit, issue I find with bb is that the stamina system is inherently methodical, you can pump the regen as much as you want but you'll eventually run out and you'd have to manage it.

The Surge 2.

The Surge 2 is better than Sekiro.

no one cares about that garbage

I do, and it's better than Sekiro.

The Surge 2 is one of the rare underrated games of last year.

Man I love both surge games but get the fuck out of here with them being better than sekiro.

Directional parrying was the right idea though, made me wish if sekiro had that, shit would be intense

counters are fucking gay

But they are though.

Cringe. I play sekiro better than you and everyone ITT and I can say that Nioh 2 is a better game with much deeper combat.

same but the opposite.
Sekiro sucks, it was fun for one playthrough (50 hours) and unplayable afterwards.
nioh 1 gave me 350 hours of fun.

sorry bro, each to their own. you are comparing two different games btw but I had to play along your retarded chimpout comparing an AR to an RPG because your low IQ brain can only register that both of them have medieval Japanese cues, imagine being that retarded.

what the fuck are you talking about schizo

>tfw sekiro was from's b-team side project and was never expected to be any good or do well
Can't wait for the sequel, hopefully you'll have to parry attacks in different directions not just braindead tapping the button

>muh b-team
>was never expected to be any good or do well
the fuck are you spouting?

thanks for reminding me this game exists

Sekiro is not an action game. Call me when you can do launchers and air combos

lmao i always LOVE it when souls babies think their games have ANY merit as an action game

>action game

no one gives a shit about your literal who e-celeb

it's not a rhythm game. Souls games are increasingly combat focused, despite not being very deep or challenging.

These games are just about difficult enough to convince shitters like OP that they're decent at a video game but have no substance to satisfy any actual action game player.

first souls games were good because they relied on the feeling of exploration and immersion to craft a good game. now they are just sorry excuses of a shit action game.

>look I said that dark souls is not hard look look I'm so cool and different right??

>it's not a rhythm game. Souls games are increasingly combat focused, despite not being very deep or challenging.

No one ever said that a souls game was a rhythm game, only sekiro, but you wouldn't know that, you never played it.

Make no mistake. That's like the faggot in the picture advertising himself. These faggots are without shame and happily self-promote themselves here "anonymously".

nioh 2 combat feels 10x better than sekiro for me, sekiro felt really spammy and my character felt like a little bitch when getting hit but nioh makes me feel like a samurai and kunoichi and sorceress

The problem with Sekiro is that once you master the parry timing the game becomes too easy

Play Ninja Gaiden

charmless + demonbell gave me quite the challenge, and I'm stiff having fun with it even though I'm pretty good at parrying now

>This game literally succeeded where bloodborne failed, by being an actual aggressive combat system.
You can only be as aggressive as the game lets you be in Sekiro. If you want an actual aggressive combat system, look at Nioh 2.

Hated Dark Souls, completely in love with Sekiro.

My friends tell my I play pretty strangely but guessing I'm not the only one?

-KB+Mouse
-High camera tracking
-Low in game mouse sensitivity
-Very high mouse dpi
-No target locking ever

I like to run through the map aggroing as much as possible then fight them all at once. You can bank on manipulating the camera to do things like place specific angled swings during enemy swings, quickly redirect combo/dodge/prosthetic direction, etc. I rarely take a hit anymore and beat a couple bossess on the first try doing this which is an awesome feel. If you can't get into Sekiro standard give this a method a shot? Being surrounded can become insanely fun.

Forgot to say, this is also as someone who did a charmless bell run, but on NG instead of NG+, where you don't start with any gourd or skills or prosthetics.

kek I tried that but quickly gave up

The early game is the roughest part. Owl Father can also go fuck itself. Fought him that way before even trying it on a normal playthrough. Bad times.

try fighting the 3 beyblade monks at the top of senpou tmeple

>can't even sheath your sword in Sekiro
I like Sekiro but it fucking bothers me. Nioh's 1kat gameplay is more satisfying for me.

From just keeps winning, Sekiro is near perfect for me

I do! They are completely crazy together but so fun~

It was okay. Discounting DS2 and 3, it's my least favorite Souls game. The combat felt too monotonous by the third act, and then I come to find out the super sword I got that can kill anything can only be used as a finisher.

They shouldn't had it switch to horror or something part way through. I don't really like the 20% mystical world its set in.

>They shouldn't had it switch to horror or something part way through.
That's literally what made BB and Sekiro interesting
