KOTOR, only to freshly experience the plot twist near the end.
I was a lot younger when I played it for the first time so I'm not sure how predictable it was, but it's probably my most memorable moment in any game.

Dark souls 2

WoW joined during TBC.

didnt know what I was doing, just running around, having fun. and I enjoyed it. I was clicking spells, i bought weapons that looked cool and didnt care about if it was a horrible weapon with stupid stats.

Replayable as fuck, but I want to experience that feel of the Paratroopers coming down for the first time, again.

Every single Dark Souls. Also Hollow Knight.

Undertale

Speak for yourself, I have a bad memory. I have a list of games that were kino as fuck for me and I don't recall playing half of them. Sure i'll get Alzheimer when i'm older but I get to enjoy shit for the first time over and over until i'm dead. Stay jealous.
>pic related
It is from Blops 1 apparently and it was ripped from my xbox dvr. So i'm going to play the campaign again next week.

Overcoming your fear of the unknown while learning about

I feel fortunate I went into MGR completely unspoiled. That was a wild ride.

My favorite FPS ever

good riddance.

bloodborne

Inducing dementia isn't a problem.

Are you me? Was going to post pretty much this. Being a noob during TBC was so much fun.
>me tauren shaman noob running around mulgore like level 7
>almost no understanding of the games mechanics
>level 20 belf lock comes through, helps me with harpy quests using cool warlock spells
>cant interact with her(male) at all since im on trial
>she(male) eventually leaves
>think belf lock is the coolest thing ever from that point forward
I wish I could go back just for like a day. Wowclassic will never replicate anything close to that feeling again.

the witness :(

those are my big 3

Bloodborne
Resident Evil 2
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Resident Evil 4
Devil May Cry 3
Devil May Cry 5

This but also add Paper Mario & TTYD, SUPERHOT, TF2, and Amnesia

I wish I could just push my last play through further into the past. It's enjoyable to still remember how to not fuck things up but also not remember large parts of the games because it's been so long. For me, it's Bioshock or Mass Effect 2

Deep Throat Simulator

well, I liked them very much and I’m happy it triggers your fragile ass.

Dark Souls ONE specifically. That feeling of figuring the unorthodox game mechanics and genius world design for the first time is one that just cannot happen again even if they make another Dark Souls sequel and it manages to be up to par with the original, which they won't even manage to do.

Earthbound

Ys 8. It's horrible trying to replay it when there's nothing left to surprise you. The only thing you start to dread on the replay are those damn raids.

Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. The feeling of going on a long, seamless journey through a rich and coherent world was unmatched for me. The excitement of wondering what was next... I miss it, Yas Forumsros.
Some runner ups
>Halo for the flood reveal
>Bioshock for that genius plot twist
>Oddworld Stranger's Wrath for the complete gameplay shift halfway through
>Metal Arms: Glitch In The System for the same reason as Jak & Daxter. It felt like an odeysey going on foot through mines, towns, wastelands, enemy trenches, research labs, abandoned underground cities, enemy metropolis, ruins, a fucking colosseum, etc.
>Psychonauts because of how much there is to discover and stumble upon if you're willing to take it slow

even if I smashed my head against a wall until I got amnesia I wouldn't be able to relive it now.

The feeling of adventure as a whole has been missing from modern gaming. I haven’t played a game in a while that felt like I was taken along on a roadtrip/adventure with the characters.

All of the ones I've already played. What a stupid post.

the witcher 3
sure the gameplay was wonky and the storytelling was a little fucky, but i enjoyed it, explored 90 percent of the game and the dlcs before the game ended and i felt empty after that, rdr2 comes close but what a chore it is to play that game

Killer7
Deadly Premonition

>FFX
I can never pick between VII or X regarding my favorite one. X is great, never really understood the hate.
I put 4k+ hours into TF2 and I have so many fond memories of it. Though, there's no way I could go back to it. I think I prefer the times i had with it.

Morrowind on the original Xbox. Even useful when I wasn't playing. I would wait until a rainstorm popped up then pause the game and go to sleep. Early asmr I guess.
