Been thinking about buying the game on steam just to play with modded sountracks and dubs, but I still need to get a good controller to play on my pc.
Been thinking about a pokken controller since it's cheap and good for platformers but having no analogs limit playing other kind of games.
What do you guys recommend?
I've just been playing with my keyboard and everythings fine so far, I mapped dash to a, main to d, sub to c and jump to space with movement on arrow keys. It took some adjustment but I'm doing okay for my first time on these games
S rank feels about as hard to get in Z3 as it was to get A in Z2. Did they make scoring easier or did I just get better?
The damage penalty's a bit more lenient, so are the enemy and time limits probably.
It's absolutely easier. Devs knew that too, because to unlock the special minigames you have to do perfect runs on every mission.
Getting a 100 average would be a nightmare on 2 and it's still hard as fuck on 3 but much more doable
If you really want analog sticks, you could get a PowerA Xbone controller for about the same price. The build quality ain't the best, mine lasted about a year, but at least it's cheap. And yeah, a Pokken controller would work just fine for these games.

Even with even more emphasis on story and dialogue compared to even X, the zero series still had a lot of wasted potential with the characters.
If you have trouble with Z1, prepare your asshole for Z2, arguably the hardest of the series

It depends on what your last level is. Your last level could either be faster-charge-slash, jump-roll, or dash-roll.

Zero doesn't need any babysitting and X has his own problems to deal with. Like how he doesn't have a functional body anymore.
You wanna make it easier at basically no cost? Don't dash all the time. This will increase the amount of time between "enemy spawns on screen" and "oh shit I just ran face first into this enemy and took a fourth of my health" so you can react accordingly.
Nope he totally gave up and quit his lifelong messiah dream. Mind you if he wanted to keep going he had Ciel ready to make him another Body after the last one was occupied.
Plus Ciel can talk to him even in Cyber elf mode. He totally ditched all the work on Zero and his Clone.
