About time you PC guys experienced the true Perfect Rush. SnS is glorious and I'm so glad they made it a pause combo with specific timing.

Me too, man. MH has always been grindy but this timed event FoMO shit is too much for me. And keeping up with the ever-changing meta is frustrating. I'm tired of MH, which is a shame because it was my favorite series up until now.

How the fuck do you access the Safii'Jiva Siege? I completed Point of No Return like 6 times already.

The test run (Recon) is in this update, but the actual Siege event doesn’t go live for another week.

It essentially boils down to that, yeah. Plus the absurdity of the AT mons that you couldn't even practice against because you had a week or two to fight them and fuck it if you were busy.

The added popularity has also invited a bunch of FotM snobs that rush through all the game's content and then dump it until the next event. I got chastised for taking my time and farming up the weaker mons to have a nice armory of gear while these fucks were T3 farming not even two days after IB dropped.

You can stop playing and still love the game.
In any case no matter how much they tried monster hunter is not an MMO. They can't make people hunt every day for 3 years straight. We need to be able to take a nice long breaks so that the desire to play can arise again.

500hours iceborne, 500hours base game.

Just make a set with 3 poison and 3 fire resistance skills. They're not that hard once you know how to fight them, they just do too much fucking damage.

Not only breaks, I want to make a bunch of different weapons and armor, but I never have time because I have to jump on the next event quest and get all the festival tickets and crap.

I, personally, have 900 hours on base (HR999) plus 100 or so now on IB.

The repel quest for safi felt way too damn easy, done in 6 minutes. Is the actual quest much harder?

Yes, the repel is balanced for solo play. The full event is much tougher, I’ve only managed a single run clear of it once and only just by the skin of my teeth.

Seriously though, SnS is by far the most fun weapon once you get the hang of the backhops iframes.

Yeah it’s kinda dumb, the Siege itself is definitely MP balanced but the Recon is easy as hell solo. Guess they wanted to drill it into people’s heads that it’s intended to be an MP boss, lord knows the average player needs constant direction like that if the average Safi run is any indication.

Welp, did it with randoms. Thought you can at least farm Dracolite, but nope, so I'm done with today.

His mouth glows brighter right before he fires. Reverse direction dodge that shit when its about to fire.

Those are fine for me, it's the fucking ground pound laser combo that pisses me off since he usually does it when you're down to the last minute and need to stay close to lay on damage. It's like the AI knows what's up and decides that's the perfect time to keep using the "get away from me" moves.
