The HD collection version of PS2 games often run better in RPSC3 than the PS2 versions do on PCSX2. Its up there with Project 64 as an abomination of an emu.

This is a blatant lie, they run like crap on RPCS3 as the emulator requires a PC 100x more powerful than what PCSX2 requires. Almost every single HD remaster on PS3 was trash too.

God of War 1 & 2 still run like ass on PCSX2 on a 3700x. On RPCS3 they run at full or speed on my laptops shitty 6700hq. Id rather play the PS2 versions, but PCSX2 has stagnated.

I don't understand how you manage to have an emulator that manages to run the same game, with the same settings, and getting a different result, it fucking blows my mind how it's even possible to fuck up so hard

SOTC is even worse, dropping below 30fps when PCSX2 can run it at 60fps.

Jak doesnt work on either. MGS works great on both now. KH is definitely better on PCSX2. Dont know about SOTC. Glad you found 1 game that doesnt work though. Does R&C go above 20 fps on PCSX2 yet? Cause it does on RPCS3.

Jak runs on PCSX2, MGS has huge amounts of slowdown on RPCS3 and the ports weren't good, KH ports also weren't good to the point KH2 isn't even worth playing and the PS2 versions have more mod support. R&C isn't even worth mentioning, those ports were terrible and they've been running on PCSX2 for a very long time. RPCS3 also is not stable for any of these games, all of them give you chances of crashing. Not a single one is listed as playable on their compat list.

Jak's better than the last time I tried, but its still a graphical mess. R&C is dropping to 75% speed a lot. God of War 1 & 2 are so slow its unplayable.

Try the MTVU speedhack? They all run fine for me but I always have that turned on. If Jak is buggy you're probably using an old version.
