The Mauser C96's bolt was very high up from the grip compared to other handguns, resulting in a harder to control recoil. The wooden stock helps to mitigte this extra kick and also functions as a neat holster.

I tend to do solo better than with others, noone to worry for but myself. My go-to strategy goes something like this:
>Be stealthy to the point people don't even know you exist
>Only attack people who are on their own, are an instant kill and make sure there's noone nearby to hear it
>If I'm the first to a boss area, I take one of the side-houses/rooms the boss can't get into and Kevin Mccallister the fuck out of it

>Strategically placed lanters
>Be sure to get a clear image of the layout of the building/room aswel
>Set out the camping chair, matches last an hour so time is on your side. You'd be surprised how many people just run into your doors only to get insta-trapped completely by surprise, leaving them exposed for a buckshot followup
