I enjoyed 999 and loved VLR but haven't played ZTD yet because of the overwhelmingly negative reception it got. I kinda wanna play it to join in on the shitposting though.

If it was Ever 17 Uchikoshi and DISTRUST Kodaka then I would be hype to bursting. It'd probably be some real weird murder mystery taking all kinds of great moments and characters to a satisfying conclusion, all while splicing in some good humor to give some breath amid a stark, sometimes unnerving atmosphere/narrative turns.

If it's VLR/ZTD Uchikoshi and V3 Kodaka then it's just gonna be irreverent self-indulgent trash replete with likeable characters, maybe, and an incomprehensible "message" sown into an equally incomprehensible tapestry of painful pseudo-science monologues and self-contradictory narrative reveals/twists.

tl;dr It's gonna suck. It could've be great, but we live in the world where DISTRUST was never made so it's gonna suck.
