I wonder will Zagreus actually get out of Hades? or will he learn that the underworld isnt so bad and discover that the true freedom is the friends done along the way.

Is Hades gonna go the way of GOW? Will he kill the gods of olympus in the future?

seems like theres gonna be something with the friend stuff because of that whole bond forged screen that appears when you finish certain character's "routes"

i would like some kinda alternate ending to whatever they have planned that you can only obtain if you save enough of those rerolls during a run and reach the end

My bet is that Persephone rejects him or something and he decides to come back and appreciate his underworld life.
Alternatively he meets Persephone but ends up missing his underworld friends so he occasionally kills himself to go back and basically spends some time in the underworld and some time with Persephone.
Tying into that there needs to be some reason for Zagreus to continue doing runs after the ending.

They are greek gods, that isnt so impossible a possibility, to follow on the footsteps of uncle Zeus.

But really, it was just a compliment on how good she is. Her art is one of the biggest selling points in Supergiant Games, then they hook you with an amazing OST and story, while the gameplay ends up being somewhat experimental.

You can already slap Meg's thick blue cheeks and she's like your quasi-sister

The only sizable thing the game is missing is the ending.
Which is solely dialogue and a cutscene.
All the weapons are in, all the characters and gods are in.
it is practically finished.

The devs have said they have no plans to add anymore gods.
Of course they never planned to add Demeter and they didnt plan the addition of many other things they have added. But still I think it is highly unlikely there'll be another good. Not enough mechanical space for it.

I don't really think Persephone is going to be a twist dick mostly because Nyx herself says she was a pretty good woman. That and she's on the surface but even Demeter thinks she's gone. If she got out of hell on her own free will I doubt she wouldn't tell her mom. If anything its some dastardly plan to stir shit up. If I where to guess I'd say the titan chronos persuaded Ares to nab her on the prospect that it would cause a war in some way or another. Causing Demeter to get mad and freeze everything, making people think time actually stopped and start worshiping chronos. Giving him enough power to resurrect and be the true final boss.

I think there might be a final sequence with Hades bailing Zagreus out of a tight spot for an ending. It seems anti climactic to just do "oh pretend he died and go back to the start" over and over again without some resolution. It would make thematic sense especially when one of the first character you meet on your journey is Sisyphus.

I made the mistake of playing this on week one of early access. It's actually pretty good, but I am so burnt out on it. I have zero interest in coming back to it.

Heed my warning, don't touch it til it's done.

In the new admin room in the House you can see all previous run summaries. If you lost to Hades it says you were slain by [redacted] just as Hypnos says.
Yet all Zagreus weapon aspects are always [redacted] (but not others).

thoughts on the new boon design?

I'm betting the twist is she's still in the underworld in one of the sealed off area. Zagreus is most likely a stillbirth, and Persephone had simply given up her power and perma-died to save Zagreus. Hades lied to everyone so Z doesn't learn the truth and blame himself for her death. He probably sealed her in some sort of crystal to preserve her body and I'm betting Z will finally figure out that he has control over blood/life and resurrects her.

It's very cash money, man.

A few observations:
The new weapon is 100% going to get a nerf. I could fight Hades without barely moving becaue I phased him so astronomically fast while playing the base Zagreus aspect. (ATT SP. / DODGE %) Not even some insane combination, just Zeus AA and the legendary Zeus boon.

The new sword aspect is actually fun as fuck, I pretty much only played Poseidon aspect for sword before, the new Arthur one is tight. I don't think it's overtuned.

I could bust one to the new Nyx art.

user your brain must be particularly smooth. Here's how to win a run with Poseidon Aspect:

>Equip it.
>Find a good cast. (Artemis e.g)
>Force cast friendly boons (Dual Shot, Fully Loaded, shit like that)
>Try to fish for Chaos damage % on cast/more casts to throw out.

It's easier than ever with the boon rerolls now user. Play it safe and keep your distance.
