>Part 1 won't have any super bosses
>barely any materia
>hard mode is locked until you beat the game
Is this game doomed to fail?
Final Fantasy 7 Remake
Still can't believe they gave in to ResetEra and censored Tifa's tits. What the fuck is wrong with this industry? Not even the East is safe from the trannies.
Nah. It'll sell 10m+
>Barely any materia
Source?
>Part 1 has no superbosses
Datamine literally showed a superboss and a olympus type arena similar to Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2
I WANT TO COOM TO ERICA LINDBECK!!!
Well I think it'll do fine sales wise given how many nostalgia ridden 30 year old boomers it'll reel in, but content wise the game is a complete rip off.
>Source?
it's part 1 of the game kid. You know, the part in FF7 that had barely any materia because you just started the game?
>Datamine literally showed a superboss and a olympus type arena similar to Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2
source?
The amount of cope this game is causing with virginal posters like is making the game a must-buy for me
It's a remake dumbass, an expanded remake, of course its gonna have more fucking materia than OG Midgar, horrid reasoning.
Here's a screenshot of the arena type thing + hellhouse, also showed a VRR in-game arena (not relating to VR but Cloud puts on a headset in-game), can't find the superboss currently but it was called something like "DeepGround_Behemoth_Superboss" or some shit, if any other anons can help me out here.
Ok lmao
>It's a remake dumbass, an expanded remake, of course its gonna have more fucking materia than OG Midgar, horrid reasoning.
so they're going to have all the materia in the game in the first part and ruin the pacing of character development? yeah right.
what's going to actually happen is they will have very few materia in part 1 and they will space the little materia there is out over the 20 hour length of the game.
>Here's a screenshot of the arena type thing + hellhouse, also showed a VRR in-game arena (not relating to VR but Cloud puts on a headset in-game), can't find the superboss currently but it was called something like "DeepGround_Behemoth_Superboss" or some shit, if any other anons can help me out here.
>source: dude trust me
nice headcanon kid. that confirms literally none of what you said.
try again
>so they're going to have all the materia in the game in the first part and ruin the pacing of character development?
not even him, but explain how materia relates to pacing and character development.
user, stop pretending being retsrded and falseflag this hard
If u wanted a ff7r thread, just do it
Dilate, tranny. This board isn't for you.
They haven’t made a single good change.
Ultimate tranny cope.
Go dilate, tranny. This board isn't for you.
This doomposting retardation is getting better by the day.
My deadfu!
doubt it, I mean FFXV had a bunch of fucking issues day 1 and it still sold big
FF sells on brand recognition only. It's disgusting.
What’s this I hear about evil Wedge? Sounds especially stupid if it’s true
>Part 1 won't have any super bosses
Didn't the leaker say there was a Deep Ground Behemoth fight or something?
>barely any materia
Midgar barely did in all fairness
Not him but there were literally threads daily back then showing leaks of NG+, Hard mode, arenas, and a superboss and different weapons. Do some research.
>all these fucking posers talking about jessie now
Fucking faggots, If you didn't like her then you don't get to like her now!
But I did?
>leaker
>believing any leaker
>source: dude trust me
fuck off
Fat, bald, giant dick and during the added celebration party after the first bombing run he NTRs Tifa, yes it's true.
Materia got confirmed by everyone who did the second demo. Theres a load of new ones.
The remake isn't for old players who can clearly see this is a rip-off.
It's meant for zoomers with low IQ because of all the years of playing crappy incomplete games sold as complete and riddled with microtransactions and cut-content
An RPG's story being cut into several parts just destroys any of the intended narrative and dramatic flow of the original
ReadHes just falseflagging
>The remake isn't for old players who can clearly see this is a rip-off.
Just think what it says about modern games as well.
>That one game, released at once, all together, is too much for the modern industry and needs to be split up over years and years after its already been in development for years already
And the original was made in -- what? -- a year?
This.
I remember back in my day, with the original ff7, it was so hard and complex. You had to scroll down... and select "Attack" until you unlocked scrolling down and selecting "Watch Furry Cutscene" for 99 million damage. That's depth.
>when doomposters resort to literal lies
You still haven't posted a single source that confirmed any superbosses, any NG+, any Colosseum, etc.
keep coping, shill.
>These things are NOT in the game! it's DOOMED to fail!
>Actually those things are there
>lmao source trust me FUCK OFF
What a dumb retard. Seek help before you end up dying alone
>An RPG's story being cut into several parts just destroys any of the intended narrative and dramatic flow of the original
I agree. If they can't fit a whole book series into a single book, or an entire manga series into a single paperback, or an entire TV series into one episode... it's effectively destroyed. It happened to Lord of the Rings, and now it's happening to FF7
>still no source
kys you pathetic piece of shit shill
Lord of the Rings was written as three parts (well, six released two at a time). Final Fantasy 7 was designed as one game.
This game will sell five million in its first week then everyone will forget it exists.
And FF7R is not designed as a single game so what's the point?
Delusional
what? No.
that's what happens with overhyped shilled games. They sell well the first week then absolutely nobody talks about them afterwards because they're shit.
Hello Square-Enix shill! :)
Welcome to modern hype culture.
anything that BTFOs waifufags is something to consider for sure
FF7R isn't telling a new story. It's telling a story that was designed as one game. Try again you mentally ill shill
Ok xd
that guy didn't say anything about complexity though
None of that matters when telling a story, and you could just as easily tell LOTR as either one or several books.
What matters is execution.
Is the pacing good? Is there a proper structure? Is there proper pacing? Does leaving Midgar feel like an adequate conclusion that tells its own episodic story and/or leave a proper cliffhanger?
What a travesty.
>It's telling a story that was designed as one game.
3 cds though
No.
All released at the same time as part of the same product
You act as if you were the only one who grew up on FF7, and that literally everyone else here is some zoomer. As if this board hasn't been around for fucking ages. As if other people here didn't beat this game yearly like a fucking tradition. And guess what? The game is still here. It holds up fine. You can even mod it and update the graphics, there are installers for it if you are too retarded to do it yourself. So if you don't like the remake, don't buy it. But you don't have a monopoly on loving FF7. And some of us want to see the story expanded, want to play with updated graphics and playstyles and experience the game reimagined without so many of the things that limited the original version due to hardware and time. A lot of us had FUN playing the demo, and got the feeling of doing that bombing mission for the first time again since 6th grade. This 1/10th argument is retarded, Midgar clearly had plenty of room to be expanded upon, and arcs become full standalone pieces all the time. If this was a cash grab they wouldn't have sank all this time and money into it. Stop being retarded and assuming everyone who likes something you don't is a shill or a zoomer or a retard or not a true fan. Go play FF7 if that is all you want. Fucking Yas Forums.
It's a good system.
Everyone gets pumped and consumes every, and several years later, actual analysis begins and the cream rises to the top and is afforded its proper accolades.
>AAAAAAAHHHH IT'S THE NEXT TORTANIC!!!1
>Game sells well
>Next big game is about to release
>AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH IT'S THE NEXT TORTANIC!!!1
>Materia correlates directly to character development
Explain
The point still stands: the original game was normie retard casual shit. Why would a remake of a casual game be anything other than a casual game?
>What matters is execution.
>Is the pacing good? Is there a proper structure? Is there proper pacing?
LOL
imagine saying this when there sure as hell ain't gonna be proper pacing when you wait years for part 2
any emotions you build up towards the end will just be gone
It's telling an expanded version of that story, not the same exact story.
Ironically, Two Towers is a laborious piece of shit with tons of dawdling that could have been edited to half its length or even removed entirely.
no the point doesn't stand
you replied to someone who wasn't even talking about what you're trying to inject into the conversation
consider yourself ignored from this point on
nobody said it was the exact same story. it is telling the same story, period. and that story was designed as one game.
Why are a select minority obsessed with fudding this game as much as possible? The truth is this game is going to sell $500+ million dollars, become nominated for game of the year, and faggot 4channers aren't going to make a difference
game selling well won't change the fact that it is shit
I remember people unironically saying practically the same thing before Kojima's disaster came out
?
I don't know if you're an ESL, or if you're just a zoomer, or if you're just really stupid, but I want you to explain to me how the time between releases has anything to do with narrative pacing?
The length of time between releases has nothing to do with the actual pacing.
Also, plenty of people wait years for entries into series and are happy to get them. This is particularly common for books and games. They don't just "lose" their emotions. If you do, this is some ADHD hyper-zoomer shit.
No, it does stand.
The entire point was the game was a casual fest, and it is. You might get hung up on phrasing, but that's the truth of the matter.
