What are your hopes and dreams for Elden Ring Yas Forums
i hope it fucking comes out, where fuck is the new trailer?
that we get some news soon
That it has cute girls with cute feet like maiden in black, priscilla, and friede
3 hours bros
I can't even imagine it
that it actually advances the souls formula instead of just regurgitating it for the 5th time like dark souls 2, dark souls 3 and bloodborne did.
either that or a return to form to games like demon's souls and dark souls that weren't 100% action focused despite having simplistic combat at best.
I am waiting for a release date so I can schedule my vacation...
If they take too long to announce I will have to spend my vacation like a fucking normal fag and travel to some shit place
I hope the main girl gets dicked by BBC
Based and cutegirlfeetpilled
I hope it expands on Lances and includes satisfying as fuck Flails to use, like those Chalice Dungeon dudes from BB.
I also want shields being a big part of the game unlike DaS3 where it was useless to have one.
And some kino fashion as always.
I hope it isn't on PlayStation
its natural evolution from the souls formula the director of these games has said, either that means he is going to spice up what already exists or do something very good with an old formula.
trailer is dropping in april, just fucking read the resetera thread
My hope is that we will get SOME FUCKING INFO AT SOME POINT in the near future.
My dream is for the game to come out and be an actual lasting adventure that rewards exploration. Sekiro was neat but too short and too little reason for multiple playthroughs.
'If I say thing is happening at X event, weeks or months in advance then thing gets changed or cancelled (Which has happened before) then It reflects poorly on me and frustrates others. Which is why I tend to reveal these things when it's too late for them to be changed or cancelled which usually amounts to a couple days or a week in advance at most and while I'm not really worried about the games development as of right now, with Coronavirus cancelling or postphoning so many events, this is one of those times where its better to er on the side of caution. So to answer your question: yes, but things can change.
'
as per the insider on resetera. LITERALLY no solid date as they say.
yea but maybe he was thinking the same thing with dark souls 3 and bloodborne... i don't have that much faith in miyazaki these days.
sekiro is actually somewhat of an evolution in my eyes but from miyazaki's point of view it's something entirely different.
the xbox insider said trailer would release alongside the microsoft reveal event happening in april
I'd just like some gameplay changes in NG+ cycles, like what they done on some bosses in DS2 where there's added things in the boss fights/different boss phases & different enemy placements to make it more challenging rather than only increasing HP & DMG each cycle.
he has a lot of stress on him I imagine, your last few projects do wonderfully and people expect a perfect game out of you next. Poor dude is probably trying to perfect the game and will end up cutting shit from it.
Go back there trannies
is there two insiders now? I might of missed this.
i cant even go there in the first place, you have to pay for a professional email to sign up lol.
A large departure from souls. Sekiro was really fun but still a bit too similar to me.
all from soft games have cut content or under developed aspects.
for example resource systems or skill systems.
in dark souls 3 the weapon arts were a joke and except for a select few such as ichimonji the arts in sekiro are mostly useless
OoOoOOOoOOoOoh
>A large departure from souls.
pretty sure miyazaki said that elden ring will be in the same kind of game as dark souls, and he considered sekiro to be a huge departure soooo...
Taxation mechanics.
i'm expecting it to have one huge open area in the center of the game world similar to hyrule field, with the different kingdoms you apparently are going to visit all being entered from there. i also expect the horseback riding to only be available on that open field.
Nothing besides open world really, I think the gameplay will be completely predictable and the game will lean heavily on its lore to entertain people. We’re never going back to Demons Souls again because there’s too much risk involved to veer off course
how exactly was demon's souls "off course" except for the fact that it put less emphasis on unga bunga action and more on methodical approach?
I'm hoping it's a fun game.
You answered your own question baka
It really didn't, insufferable MatthewMathosis hipsters pretend it's a deep masterpiece for cool internet points
Really hoping for this as well. I've done countless playthroughs of every Soulsborne but very limited ng+ runs. I'd usually rather just make a brand new build/character so the experience is different in some way.
the average player can't even see a difference between how those games were designed m8
Detachable limbs as a form of equipment alongside armor and weapons would be super rad
Yes that’s what From Software is also thinking
Return to the form of DeS.
i mean that's probably going to be a thing but i wouldn't trust them to execute it well after how sekiro's prosthetics turned out
Being able to take a defeated enemy/boss' arm, equip it and use some of its powers would be pretty cool.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ELDENNNN RINGGGGGG
it's going to be like BOTW, but souls grahpic.
I just hope it comes out at this point desu
Prosthetic really just need the spirit emblem capacity upgrades to be from only one to like 5, and not being able to buy them but regaining the max limit of spirit emblems each time you sit at a sculptor. Only having 20 spirit emblems and having to grind money to buy more means you can't really mess around or experiment with prosthetic outside of their niche.
except good gameplay, good story, good designs, etc, etc
I don't see Omni confirming it anywhere
I hope that in 3 hours they release a new trailer at least
How can you resetera trannies tell what good gameplay is when you can’t even tell what gender you are?
Yeah, rep[layability was my biggest gripe with Sekiro, I was hoping they'd have expanded or changed it up for that since there was no difference in character build.
>Reworked armor and poise so you can tank through things but without the poise of dark souls 1. So if you're wearing the havel's armor or some heavy armor, you can walk through arrows and short swords/ daggers and not get stunned, but that boss with a huge club smacking you is going to stun you for a bit, but less then if you were lighter, less protective armor.
>Idealized balance and mixture of dark souls and Sekiro combat.
>More interesting magic now that we don't have to go by sorcery, miracles, and pyromancy. Less soul arrows being 1/2 of all magics and more aoe, utility, magic traps, wards, something that isn't soul arrow 2.0.
>DaS1 has skeleton collecting mechanic and you can become a giant made out of skeletons
>in DaS3 you can become a mass of goo and devour enemies to gain their powers
because the cinematics showed these things so you can obviously do them
That George RR Martin is just attached by name and has NO creative input in this game whatsoever. I really hope that. Fuck that lazy piece of shit.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EEEEEELDEN RING!
expand on what sekiro did. its the best gameplay in the series.
This is like saying you're thankful Lovecraft had no creative input on Bloodborne.
Isn't the one shown doing that the player character? In DaS1 and DaS3 the ones doing that shit are bosses.
omnipotent is a fromsoftware insider but there's another xbox insider who says that fromsoft was paid by microsoft to hold the reveal until their xbox showcase
ahh, never seen seen word of that insider anywhere. Thanks for the info.
botw was good
What original element did Martin add to the fantasy genre? Genuinely curious here.
Smart dwarves who talk about whores all the time.
