Half Life 2. My big brother would let me drive around the hovercraft.

Some vertically scrolling shooter set in space.
No idea what it was called but it was clearly an early 80's game.
I managed to beat it in one sitting at the age of 3 so it must have been fucking easy.
The first game I remember the name of was Sonic 1 on Christmas '91, when I was 4.
Wing Commander 3
had a '84 BBC Micro with a spelling game all i remember is a big tomato character. it also had Planetoid, an awesome side scrolling SHMUP, and a really bad version of some platformer Manic Miner or similar, among others.
around the same time had a pongbox
after that got a master system with enduro racer, duck hunt, super hang-on, and ninja.
ninja and enduro racer were fucking tight i played them endlessly.
>master system
>duck hunt
Either you're Brazilian born in the early 2000's or you're a liar.
not counting JumpStart games, Mario 64
It was probably either Settlers for PC or Qbert. I had to explain to people I had a 'wood console' that used 'cassettes' and people thought I was fucking crazy. Turns out it was an Atari 2600 clone that didn't say Atari but 'Arcade' on it.
As for Settlers I couldn't figure out the controls because it was too complicated for my age and I wasn't sure if I was actually doing anything or which player I was.
Used to play it with my mum. The opening track still makes me smile to this day youtu.be
The first super Mario bros, my cousin gave me his old nes when I was 5
god bless your mum user
i looked it up, its called Safari Hunt, basically a clone of Duck Hunt. the other version of MS had alex kid built in.
i also accidentally discovered there is another hidden built in game called snail maze.

Played it with me mum, RIP.
We had a NES but I never really touched it, then one day when we were at a rental place, this game stuck out to me.
Hilarious how once I fired it up, I had no understanding of RPGs and couldn't make it out of the castle. I was 4.

Half-Life or Unreal, forget which was first
It was definitely an NES game (It was my Dad's, I'm not THAT old). I have it narrowed down to Double Dragon II, Super Mario/Duck Hunt, or The Adventures of Bayou Billy
Lode Runner on NES. Day when my parents bought NES and this way first game i seen. I only 2 cartriges with 32 in 1 and 8 in 1. I could borrow another cartrige with Contra and some other games. That was before i knew what computer is. Around 1989 i think.

My cousin gave it to me after I already had a Mega Drive, it got some use but I couldn't beat the damn jankenpon game.
I never knew about the Snail Maze though!
Actually I take that back, there was a computer game where you're an adventurer going around a pyramid I think? I have no idea what the game was. There was also some game that came with a stuffed mouse that I don't remember anything about.

Damn this is one of them for sure. This game was amazing, especially with all the shortcuts and the bonus OP car, the el Nino or whatever it was called
I used to play Dark Forces with my dad when I was a kid. I still play it, and its sequels, to this day.

I unironically have no clue. I thought it was crash but I was already like 8 when it came out.
A game I had no idea what it was at the time but many years later released was f-zero.
Not my first game but one of them. World of Illusion was based as fuck, possibly one of the best coop games ever made.
The soundtrack is still in my head
why did this genre have to die
Street Fighter 2 WW on arcade, I was 5 at the time
You can now. There's a mod called DarkXL which improves the controls massively.
