It is also illegal to advertise a product as a sale price if it has only ever existed at that price.

I'm guessing it sold less than the Pre-Sequel, which sold pretty poorly. You can't trust epic sales numbers because they include the guaranteed sales as part of their contract as actual consumer sales.

Now you figure in what would be a reasonable amount to discount it to entice people. They went with half off. Half user. That is Gearbox saying the game flat out is only worth half of what they were asking, per them themselves.
Nothing about it points to the game selling well. They couldn't even afford post launch shilling, or decided to entirely write it off. And we have history on Yas Forums regarding how far Gearbox will shamelessly shill.

I use steam but their interface is so janky.

Last I checked we need a denuvo crack newer than around October 2019. Performance was middling and had to restart multiple times for crippling bugs.

It was functional though, managed to see the whole dogshit story through. I loved 2 so I don't have the highest standards for this shit but goddamn what a disappointment.

From what I know/see/heard its this:
BL3 has an atrocious story that should bring shame to all who wrote it, but it also comes with better gameplay than 2/Pre-Sequel, they are finally buffing weapons. (I played 1, 2, and the Pre-Sequel, I love 2 but I can't say its aged the best, and I love Pre-Sequel for how it plays). I know a friend who's planning to get it and so I may buy it, especially if the crack's that far back and the sale. Thanks for the info.

Destiny 2 has great gunplay, I just wish the rest of the game was built up as well to support it.

Destiny 2 has great gunplay, environments, raids and lore. The campaigns and strikes are mediocre at best. Balancing and bugfixes come at a glacial pace. Optimazation is atrocious.
