All of your good games are on better platforms where I don't get hand cramps. Also visual novels are for fags
cringe
Gonna inject you some proper MHP3rd patch now, hold still ya bitch
I got a smartphone, and remote play never worked well. I'm sorry buddy. I loved you.
Based
SHUT THE FUCK UP
Because contrary to what Yas Forums claims, you were shit.
If you break that, I'm killing myself. Stop.
Mine fell off a table and broke.
Now it's just been me convincing myself for years that I don't need to buy a new one to play Persona 4 Golden again cause they're definitely going to port it to something else.
*saves you from death*
We had a good run playing nfs rivals
I bought into a Vita the holidays of 2013. I think it has a nice library of games, but they're all japanese, niche stuff.
Also I'll never forget the spergs on here trying to say Demon Gaze is better than Etrian Odyssey.
Still need to fix my left analog before Uta remake comes out.
Jokes on you I just installed a game on it and I'm now letting it charge a bit before trying it.
Sorry, couldn't stop Sony from literally murdering you
Imagine a Vita that didn't pad out its price with a touchscreen, touch sensitive rear panel and proprietary memory cards.
Don't blame me I still play on it. Sony was the one that killed it
I imagine pretty much everyone bought it intending to crack it like their psps, including me.
I didnt. I still play you. You're one of my favorite jrpg machines.
I didn't. I literally just finished cleaning you out, in fact, all of you
i rather play indieshit on my vita than switch. the d pad is much, much better. wish it actually got hollow knight
Because people found out you can get you on yahoo japan for cheaper than ebay and prices are skyrocketing and I keep getting outbid due to falling asleep.
No one cares about you though.
Epik
Because I've tried to change your screen twice and it always was a pain in the butt.
Then I forgot.
I'll try again this easter tho.
Did the VITA ever get blown open for emulation/modding like the PSP did? When I worked at a games shop back around 2015 that was my whole sales pitch for PSPs.
They should’ve dropped the touch pad and memory cards
That would’ve help significantly
Yes.
Because iterative successor systems inherently suck and the Vita didn't have the appeal that the PSP had: being a slick, portable Playstation 2 (or thereabouts) when 6 months before the best you could get was the GBA.
Nobody gave a shit about carrying a not-slick, portable Playstation 3 by the time Smartphones had been around for 4+ years.
Slim or fat?
Because no one wants to spend $200 to play Lumines
All they had to do was in 2014 or 2015 release a 3000
No back touchscreen, but l2 and r2 instead. More ergonomic. Better specs, allowing you to run games in turbo mode with better frame rate and resolution. No proprietary memory. Better wifi card so remote play is way better. Video out. Give the user a lot more options and control over the handheld, like we've gotten from homebrew plugins.
Wouldn't have saved it but it would've helped enough to make it competitive with the 3ds finally. Make enough from sales to put towards a switch competitor.
You didnt have Pokemon, Advance Wars or Mario&Luigi games, you deserved your fate. Never talk to me or my 3DSon again.
I have a 1000 model with black spots on the screen when the screen gets dark. Is it really worth it to get a 2000 model? Is the LCD that bad?
You're asking them to reinvent the entire system over from scratch. Hardly a 3000 and more like a Vita 2.
Colors are more washed out, but you can get used to it. Look into replacing the screen instead, the vita is pretty modular and easy to repair
Using you just fine xoxo.
>Bought a Vita
>Played Persona and Soul Sacrifice
>Sold Vita
>Bought Vita AGAIN
>Played Dragon's Crown and Muramasa. Replayed MGS2 and FFX, which were novel on handheld
>Sold Vita again.
>Two months ago
>My old trusty PSP 2000 dies. Battery explodes.
>Cave and buy Vita AGAIN
>Hack the shit out of it
>The single best emulation machine ever, (with a few good games of its own)
It's been a long road to get here, but I'm glad I made it
I sold two of these fuckers because only after getting the second one I realized there's literally nothing that worth having a Vita for.
Now I'm perfectly happy with my fat PS TRIPLE.
Can you emulate PSP stuff on it?
Flawlessly
Shut up bitch you're right next to the charger as always.
some say there's input lag but I don't see it
My PSP got water damage because I'd play it in the bathtub, kind of stupid in hindsight but oh well. I don't really take baths anymore (Just showers) so I won't make that mistake again.
I have a Switch but I'm not going to play my Switch in the bath, I guess some people do.
Can VITA play PSP games ?
I mean digital ones or is there some built in emulator ? Something like Virtual Console ?
If there is I might buy one and hack it.
it has full PSP CFW and there's no emulation so everything works like a PSP
Not ded
Because I got a 64GB fucking memory card imported which is a fucking trap. Slowly my games started getting corrupted and I was losing save data. I didn't realize what was happening until I lost my almost finished VLR save.....
That's interesting
You're too big and your battery died so I sold you for a pretty decent price (150 bucks, white OLED)
For actual portable gaming I'd rather use my PSP Go, for visual novels I'd rather read the non censored versions on my laptop and you basically had no exclusives other than the Evolution Kiseki games which I played ages ago and admittedly enjoyed more than the original versions, but that's about it
I sometimes miss just grabbing you when I'm bored and beating the shit out of monsters in dragon's crown though, good times
Aw man, a friend of mine had a Vita TV for $100 couple years ago but I didn't get cause my Vita worked fine at the time.
I'm kicking myself now given I have a broken Vita and the prices have skyrocketed on those things.
imagine not buying one brand new for $30
Exactly what it needed to be saved.
i'd tell you to buy a new one but there's a chance it might actually get ported to something new after so many years .. i dunno
I didn't. I bought you bought a shit ton of games then found out you were dead when half the games online functionalities were dead. Wish you had more games though best handheld experience I've ever had.
I remember when I got the vita, coming from the ds family I thought the screen was so big. Now after owning a switch whenever I play on the vita it feels comically small. For that alone I'd probably prefer playing on switch whenever I get to choose.
I wish i had a bf i could watch clean his Vitas
I really don't know man but on the off chance the this mythical Nintendo Direct has Atlus say something I'm can at least hold out a couple more weeks.
Part of me thinks I should just play the PS2 version and watch the Adachi social link on Youtube. That'll be pretty close.
Nice reddit spacing, you have to go back
t. olfag
who are you?
>tfw sold mine when I moved out for uni
>kinda wish I kept it now
It was so comfy but I had nothing to play, the remote play feature was neat though. Also the property storage was bullshit
your loading times were dogshit
i want to buy a vita, i see a lot of japanese ones in wacky colors. should i buy it? also its fine if i buy a japanese one and just switch the language to english, ya? god i wish i bought one 5 years ago
