Well, I'm in the middle of frontier I guess. It's fun but a lot slower than the other games.

Started Tides yesterday myself. It's very different but i like the pace so far. Farming itself never was the main highlight for me in these games anyway.

What are Puppetry Strings for?

The boss drop? I don't remember but they're supposed to be good for something in crafting

I haven't started that one yet, is it true that only your monsters do any farm stuff?

Giving your weapons a seal effect, which is very good combod with millionstrike. Especially bosses.

I would have but after leveling my hammer/axe skill all I got was more hammers and axes I can't make yet.

This game is a real timesucker, it's so easy to just lose yourself in the gameplay loop. Clorica is really cute to me, but other girls have always appealed to me before her. I wanna see what marrying her is like at some point, though. I made a backup save before I married Forte, so I'll eventually go back and have a file with everyone whenever I feel like coming back to the game.

Not him but you can only center the camera behind you using the Z button on the Nunchuk.

Options>Controllers Settings>Wii Remote 1 Configure then select Nunchuk under Extension box then enter the keys under the Extension tab.

What's the fastest way to grind up companion levels? I brought Forte into the mansion only to find that she died in 2 hits to pretty much everything and also ran towards enemies like a retard. I also haven't gone out with anyone else other than Xiao Pai and Amber who also last 2 seconds and I'm wondering if I'll have to repeat grinding like this for every single person in the town.

I don't remember, but i think there was another easier way. Remember that equipments and food buffs is more important than direct level though. Have you armed your guys?

I really like these 3d animated portraits in Tides, and the girls are pretty cute as well.

To the extent that I'm able, I've been giving them some of the better weapons that I'm not using. They still deal almost no damage and die almost instantly, possibly because I haven't found any decent armor to give them. Not really sure how to buff properly though I think I remember Volkanon saying that dishes made with the knife tend to give attack boosts.

Just got my second field, should i alternate between both every harvest to keep the HP up? i dont wana till shit on the fields and just let the box do its things, also im stuck on lava ruins boss on hell mode, im using two leaf balls but its combo one shotting me, do i gotta farm out new armour/weaps or what?

There should be a size chart for the series. So we can know who is the bustiest and who is the flattest.

I loved this game, I loved that you had the option to marry your male/female counterpart. Wish 4 kept that.
On my male file I married Lily and on my female I married Joe but I liked that I had the option to marry Ayden/Sonja

Tides looks cool but MAN female option got fucking bullshit romantic options. Too bad, I would have liked playing as her. At least she gets to be in the game if you choose the male protag.

I like that they feel like they have a proper personality. Aidens an oblivious asshole and sonja was a cute genki with a small tsun streak. I like micah, raguna and lest, but they're pretty 1 dimensional "on their own".
Also the Mediterranean feel of the town is pretty nice.

God I wish 4 had that too. I absolutely love it when a game has 2 gender options and the other one shows up as a candidate. It would also have been really cool to get some backstory for Lest/Frey since they both have the same mission at the start so they could already have been friends or part of an Earthmate organization together. Seeing them react to the other having amnesia or learning about their life before Selphia would have been amazing.

Yeah the romantic options are limited and questionable if you play as a girl. Joe's heart events were some of my favorite in the game
I agree with that - weirdly I think it works because Aden and Sonja have each other to play off for the bulk of the game. I really enjoyed the music, the winter island music is my favorite in the game.
