I remember playing Sakura Swim Club and it was actually kinda neat.

It catches a ton of shit for the mediocre writing, the generic art and the sheer shortness of the plot but I don't get the first two. Yeah it's not exactly Shakespear but most h-games are "ONI SAAAAAAAAAA xD"-tier and at least the Sakura games aren't THAT bad. The art I don't really understand either. The girls are pretty and though they're nothing to write home about, that's pretty much true of 99% of eroge out there. The length is the only part I do kinda understand the criticism for. The romance happens at such breakneck speed that I swear I go from "my name is X" to "how about some rough anal in public with no lube?" in an hour flat.
Overall they are far from as bad as eroge-elitists (holy fuck end yourselves) claim, but they're not masterpieces.

From their last bundle, Sakura Dungeon with the difficulty mod is surprisingly decent and fairly fun. Everything else included in it was bottom of the barrel but Sakura Swim Club was passable.
It's your time, but you're better off reading any Japanese VN on Steam over any of these.

Well, many years ago HB started selling out by complying with EA to make the Humble Origin Bundle, which was entirely DRM and Windows-exclusive. That was the first step downhill. Soon after came bundles for Steam, and bundles for Android. Not just bundles WITH Android, but bundles FOR Android.
They had that issue with one game where owning it on steam put you in a raffle, and people just bought hundreds if not thousands of bundles at 1 cent each and activated the game on hundreds if not thousands of Steam accounts to skew their odds at the raffle. As a response, HB put a minimum price of $1 to what used to be a "pay what you want" deal. There also were the "pay above the average" things to unlock all games in the bundle, but LOL now you need to pay over $20 or even $100 on various bundles to get all of the bundled items.
4 years ago HB started selling a subscription service, basically taking money for ill-defined bundles of games. What's in those bundles? What does your hard-earned money get you? That's none of your business. Not only do you not set the price, but you also don't know if you're getting anything worthwhile for your buck.
DRM reigned, free selection between OSs died, PWYW is practically kill. It was no longer about giving a platform to indie games who would otherwise go unnoticed. It was no longer about granting freedom to customers.
