Why aren't you playing any fighting games?

I still play Smash often but every other fighting game I get I play for like 15 hours and drop it. I suppose I don't really have the drive to get good.

I tried learning Alice Senki 2 but that game's on a whole different level of dead. Other fighting games have characters I just can't bring myself to give a crap about.

I don't have any friends who want to learn Marvel 3 with me and I learn faster than most so I usually just end up beating them all until they quit

I just hate ranked online. I feel like I've started to become semi-competent at Tekken but I've been the same rank for over a year now because I just stick to player matches.

Arena brawler/party game with little technical moves that a bunch of neckbeards took to seriously as a kid. Same reason why nobody plays ken or Ryu. The people who play smash would get bodied if they moved on to any other fighting game. Meanwhile skill in street fighter still translates to skill in KoF, Ali, And fighterz. Calling smash a fighting game is like calling power stone on the Dreamcast a fighting game or shriek super slam

I don't enjoy fighting games enough to have fun even when I lose and I'm not good or motivated enough to put the time and effort in to improve.
If I ever feel the urge to play a fighting game, I just go play For Honor instead. That usually fills me up on what I actually want, which is a game where I can run around in armor smacking people with a sword.

Unless you have a local scene or a group of friends to pay it, smash isn't worth it. The garbage online is a complete chore to play both in arenas and quickplay.

I am, playing UNICLR and GBVS. I was playing Tekken but gave up because no character clicked for me, which sucks because I love labbing in that game.

the only weekly near me for my dead game is a 2 hour drive. Netplay is boring and it's hard to take seriously.

They are too hard and I am too dumb and / or stubborn so I can't apply anything during matches, mostly because I am getting too destroyed to attempt anything. I have like 100 hours in dbfz and to this day I can't get in the offensive so I just wait for them and hope I block everything correctly.
