Im cautiously interested but seeing they brought Klepacke in is at least a sign of something going right. The graphics toggling between classic and remastered also seems neat as heck, it was a pretty cool addition to MCC.

Pretty much. Its why blizzard never remastered WC1 and 2.

WC1 has a remake on stratgus engine that is good, along with the WC3 custom campaign
WC2 works out of the box and all it needs is some modding.
