Just spent some time making a map. How does this look? I might swap stuff around on the bottom like the house locations, but I'm happy with the mountains.

>What will you do on the 20th?
cry because my switch probably won't be here yet

imho, the houses need to be at more random locations.

I feel like more rude villagers/recluses would be better suited for the mountains, while more friendly ones would fit better as a more concentrated "living area" on the island.

Will this have all the features that were in NL? I love how complete NL feels but it's just too small for me.

>What will you do on the 20th?
Dunno, I caught a flu just now, and if I recover by the 20th I have a root canal treatment.
Wish me luck

"Digital stress ball" is a nice phrase.

It's also how I felt about Gravity Rush 2 treasure hunts until fucking Sony shut them down.

NL didn't have many features that was in the former games, so its a major upgrade to anything and everything.

Got it for the family. I've played ever one including the GameCube before it was ever huge in the US etc.

Didn't do as much on the Wii but wife and I played ds version while dating. Now we're married with 2 kids who will definitely enjoy it in another year or two.

Plan to try to amass a lot of bells for a house upgrade and museum quickly then work towards goals slowly.

Are these what I think they are? I just ordered a bunch of cards

What a shitty drawing, couldn't you pick a decent one?

Who here is gonna make a dump? I miss it the most out of any AC thing.

The maps have too much low land, and they're too samey. I want my starter map to have as much tier 3 as possible but they all kind of have a similar amount, and mostly bunched up at the top.

Updated. I'm trying to have enough open space for nature while also making sure that there is room for any new buildings they haven't shown off yet. Got all comfy just imagining it bros, I hope it is actually doable.

Does anyone remember the link to the European website that had both the physical and digital versions of the games at a reduced price? It was posted in one of the threads a few days back

REMINDER
IF YOUR VILLAGE HAS:
>Houses in logical locations
>Your house in the corner
>Shops and utility buildings near each other like they would be in real life
>More than an arbitrary number of bridges
>Too many waterfalls
>Too many bridges
>Your house in the center
>Your village as a neatly laid out neighborhood
>Everything in messy random locations
>Is optimized for efficiency
>Isn't optimized for efficiency
>Changes to things I don't think can be changed
>Peaches
>Blue airport roof
>Coomer villagers
>A boardwalk
>Any lakes
>Rivers that don't flow exactly like they do in real life
Then your village is TRASH. ZERO OUT OF TEN. TRASH!

>no swimming
>no bikinis
>only 5 buildings
dead on arrival

are you new to this?

Reset for Apples so I can call my town Windermere is my first task.

Also hoping NH has something like this

Treasure hunts were amazing because I've always wanted a game that rewards memorization of a games open world based on visual cues. Like seriously, I've always been obsessed with learning the intricacies of open world games, ever since GTA as a kid. I love knowing about subtle or hidden shit in them. Those treasure hunts were great for that because it was literally just you finding places in an open world based purely off visual cues. Damn shame we can't do them anymore but at least I got all the unlocks tied to them.

Game is still my all time favourite regardless.

>no bikinis
We get this atleast.

Swimming in New Leaf was jank, you couldn't even swim anywhere besides the ocean or go that far.

there was one of these that had even more, give it to me

doesn't have fetish items. kinda boring

Too many jock villagers to shuffle through, but I might re-roll the uchis until I get Agnes, Cherry or Pashmina. If I get Cousteau by some miracle I don't care who the hell else shows up.

New UK trailer

I bought an Ankha amibo card a couple weeks ago, so I'm gonna start my island, see if I like who I have, and if I do then I'm gonna start fishing and catching bugs asap

>infinite possibilities
>hey I’m gonna put all my houses in a row
Boring. I’m going to make a town instead.

Sank in more than enough time to get the fully grown tree and I plan on putting even more time into New Horizons.

>animated wallpaper
Neat

I CAN'T WAIT AHHHHH THE WAIT IS KILLING ME
I CAN'T EVEN FOCUS AT WORK I WANNA CROOOOOOOOOOOSS

Acquire more fetishes user.

So there will be microtransactions and animal dialogue will be reduced to tutorial messages and feel-good catchphrases but at least there are two nose shapes now

i have enough fetishes. i just want items that already exist in the game. like the pacifier

I'm gonna have a "good" and "bad" part of town. Put all the shitty villagers in the slums and treat them like garbage

>So there will be microtransactions
Uh, no there won't. Why even lie about easily checked facts?

Source or are you a really angry esl nigger?

Another hour or so and added to based on your crits:

Basically you changed from the base map at all and your house isn't a tent right next to the airport so it's shit.

Has the famitsu review been translated yet?

Anyone gonna make a cliff by the beach?

Dude trust me. I also know that you can buy packages of bells on the eShop

No deviating from the base game is unnatural this is a deserted island not san diego.

Based cherry user

>can't come up with a simple plan for my island layout
>afraid that once I get too far with the island when the game comes out I'm going to want to change things but you can't move houses
Bros...

Yeah but can boys wear the girl clothes?

That red polka dot dress villager is hot as fuck

For the last time, yes. They can even wear girl eyes.

you can move houses.

You can move houses, right?
