I'm sick of people defending a pile of shit that failed on all of its design goals and hopes. The game is artificial difficulty from start to finish with no interesting plot.

DS2 fags respond to this > youtube.com
God I wanna watch her get oreo'd
>artificial difficulty
get artificially good
and look up agility in the wiki
>I could make an interesting post
>or I could make the millionth DS2 seeth post this day
You are literally arguing my point. Be forced to put points in a terrible stat to make the game playable. The SL you put into this stat mean you are just behind the damage curve for the pre mid game...
>interesting plot
>Souls games
Goddamn do I hate Soulsfags.
VERY BRAVE user THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS “UNPOPULAR” OPINION
If you can't play the game at 86-88 AGL which is what almost every class starts with, the problem is absolutely you
do you think you shouldn't have to level up? It's an RPG.
>artificial difficulty
Seems to be on here. You result to half arsed shit to defend this game.
Let me level up a stat that feels rewarding and isn't some contrived shit put in by devs
DaS2 > DaS3
All you did was post someone else's opinion on DS2 and not your own
stop leveling vigor
Ok but shanalotte is the cutest therefore dark souls 2 is the best thank you next thread please
I'm not watching your video, put your arguments in text or fuck off
*blocks ur path*
it's only contrived in your brain.
Why are strength and equip load two different stats in every soulsborne game? Because it doesn't have to make sense, the stats are just there to help you build a unique character.
If anything, needing to level up agility makes perfect sense, because dodging an attack with a combat roll is something that takes skill and training to do.
i'm playing through this shit now and it reminds me why i hate this shit series
>basic as fuck, single button combat
>retarded enemy placement that aims to waste your time
>hilarious and epic trolls like pharros doors that lead to nothing with no prior indication
>every single fucking path is blocked by locked doors or statue people
>dozens of useless weapons
>dozens of useless armor sets
>anything remotely interesting is a fucking ring
shits such a boring slog
I don't need to watch a video about this, I was saying all of this shit 4 hours after getting the game on release day.
The only people that defend Dark Souls 2 are bandwagoning zoomers that REALLY care about reddit duels and PVP garbage because they think the combat is what makes these games good and being "good" at this "hard" combat is impressive to people
Cope
You’re playing the worst one, what do you expect?
OP in shambles
leave your thread idiot
>shilling eceleb opinions because you didn't play the game and just a parroting retard
The absolute state...
Mutt's law.
Why does everyone act like Dark Souls 2 is either God's gift to mankind or complete donkey shit. It's the weakest Souls game, but still a decent game. Also.
>No interesting plot
Imagine actually thinking the storyline about the Ivory King isn't cool as shit
went to grab lunch sorry hun xxx
I'll give you that one, also pate and creighton are also interesting. The main plot and most of the other npc's are deadass tho
>You shouldn't need to put points in a terrible stat
> W-Well but the stats I like don't count. Those make sense in my silly mind
> What? You can make up an explanation for AGL the same way I do for STR, etc? C-Cope
Embarrassing. The true question here however is why are you so fixated on a game that came out a million years ago and that most people consider the weakest souls game.
you know you can just bob and weave these guys really, really easily right? and that there's a bonfire right before the boss?
I don't know I have a soft spot for seeing the corruption of the lands due to the corruption of Manus' spawns really adds to that feeling of nothing being eternal I still think the moment you walk into the throne room to see a hollowed out Vendrick after he was built up as such a legend is a great moment. I'll give you that most of the NPCs aren't all that interesting though, the main story is pretty good though imo.
>DS2 thread
based. playing my first hexer (but spamming dorb is boring so ive got pyromancies too).
thought the dlcs would be hard as a pure caster but it wasnt at all, i just needed to eat some herbs
ds2 is my favourite from 1-3
get fucked pussies
i didnt even know about adp till i did my platinum run
how important is ADP anyways for a dex build? i only played 2 with fat rolling + big weps and shield, so faster estus drinking and added i-frames wasn't that appealing to me
>cares about trophies
You are self evidently everything wrong with modern video gaming.
t.can't get past pursuer
woah now, pursuer is a top 5 hardest boss in non-dlc DS2
completely unnecessary for any casual run. If you push it up to like 12 you have plenty i-frames even as a tryhard. People who never played the game or spammed their rolls and still got fucked just like to be hyperbolic whiny soiboys
Yeah, right up until you learn circle-strafing.
I can screen shot steam when home. I beat Sotfs a month ago
a great shitter filter
>6 year old game
>threads still fucking daily about it
Holy seethe, if it sucks so much you faggots would stop talking about it.
I liked it therefore I think it’s a good game :)
Wrong, it's the best game. Easily the most replayable. It's huge and has more viable builds/weapons/covenants than the other Souls games put together. I bet you haven't even finished it more than once.
I enjoy the game and there is literally nothing you can do about it.
This unironically. Same with DS3 and any Kojima game.
You need at least 20+ ADP but like that user said above I also didn't know about ADP when I played blind when playing as a hexer
>artificial difficulty
Oh god just let this meme die, it was the biggest cringe of all time when people started using this as an actual game design element.
Leveling ADP is rewarding tho you're just a retarded shitter complaining why you can't spam rolls and get 30 Iframes at the same time.
GIT GUD
are you joking, you get way too many souls that you end up having to just dump points into levels or arbitrarily stay at like 80
It's the worst souls game sure, but it's still more fun than any of the copycat souls like. I would not call it a bad game.
DS2 fans, why do you think so many people love DS1, DS3, Sekiro, and Bloodbourne, but HATE DS2?
What is your explanation for that?
DS3 and DS1 have night-and-day combat differences, so I'm assuming people love both of those because of familiar stories and/or they liked BB.
The joke's on you, I hated DS2 so much I never even touched 3 or Sekiro. I'm so tired of this studio's pretentious kusogames
Is ds2 the melee of arpgs?
>rushed and unintentionally good
>the best pvp
>few but dedicated players
>daily seethe threads on Yas Forums
Don't need to watch your shitty video, here are the responses to common talking points.
>DS is designed with multiman combat in mind with the existence of weapons, miracles, spells and pyromancies designed SPECIFICALLY for fighting multiple enemies
>ADP is a better way to balance i-frames than just weight since it demands a stat investment but even then low investment is necessary for a usable amount of i-frames and even besides the frames quickened item use is good ANYWAY
>Adaptability is the shitter mark of shame, if you can't adapt by tightening your timing or avoid attacks via POSITIONING rather than a one-button-mario-star you have to have to level up adaptability in the game because you can't in real life
>the worst part of ds2 is soul memory, it was executed terribly and indefeasible
>cracked orbs fucking sucks and invasions should have been implemented differently
The first time I played DS2 i hated it and stopped playing pretty quickly. I played more action games like MH and got used to tighter roll timings or timings for shit like just guarding. When I came back to DS2 I had a fucking great time because I had a better understanding of positioning and timing.
the explanation is not everyone hates dark souls 2.
Dark souls 2 is shit.
But I'd replay it.
I can't say the same for Ds3.
I don't understand how Ds3 gets a better reputation. Putting the three games in a vacuum, it's a genuinely boring game with boring areas.
If games have a THAT area where you reach the one bad level and want to stop replaying it. The entirety of the game is THAT area.
Where's the demons souls remaster.
i've played all those games and loved them and you aren't missing much continue skipping them
its more or less that or the Final Fantasy VIII of the series
