There have been a few games - like even those from SquareEnix like Final Fantasies and Dragon Quests , as well as an old series specifically for mobile - that sold as just full on buy to play, complete games. There are also those games that share cross platform like Hearthstone . Apparently, the Fortnite and PUBG mobile versions are also quite popular and people are certainly putting money into them too.

I think its mostly just greed and predicted ROI - you can throw together a clash of clans, or city/farm etc.. building/management game, or a gatcha card based game etc.. with very little effort in comparison to a full game. You can use the shitty mobile development and monetization strategies and the hundreds of people who don['tgive a shit about your game or who never pay are made up b y the one addicted whale or whatever.

I think that if they sold games that wouild otherwise be on the Switch, to Android (or iOS if you must) they'd get people doing more than buying gatchas or other mobile specific f2p crap.

The controls are smooth retard. 2017 was the first year that game came out and thus the person playing it was a noob. As the gameplay goes on, he clearly got more and more used to the game and thus the games controls looked smoother and smoother as the game went on.

Mobile rhythm games are alright. For me, I'd rather not have to tap different buttons for the same type of action, so a touchscreen would be better for mobile rhythm games. Tapping different parts of the screen is a lot more intuitive than tapping different buttons.

The controls are probably the best controls in a 3rd person android game though. You can even go in menus and EDIT what controls are where and how large they are. Shitendo and plebstation game controls are objectively worse because you have to use aim assists to make 1st person/3rd person shooters playable with analog sticks. ROS does not have aim assists.

What makes them shit? They seem responsive. The outlay is similar to regular controllers. Movement seems to be about the same as playing it on a console. So where's the issue?
