Its literally just zoomers trying really hard to fit in.
They get made fun of by boomers for liking new games that only inexperienced kids would like, which is fair since they're inexperienced kids, but then compensate by putting forward this air of being "born before their time" and having nothing but games from before their era that they mostly haven't played as their favourites.
It sounds retarded, and kind of is, but its not just a meme. You meet these people IRL sometimes if you are forced to do that whole social interaction thing. I don't even bring up that I like games at work anymore, because I inevitably get cornered by some autists thats 8 years younger than me but completely in love with the fact that I grew up with the shit that he pretends to like, so I have to listen to him spout nonsense that he's pulled from his ass, or assumptions he's made after watching some youtube videos about shit I've actually played/watched/read/whatever before.

Zoomers are honestly mostly just fucking weird, it baffles me how so many of them don't actually have hobbies, they just watch other people have hobbies.
Youtube as a friend replacement has had some weird effects on kids. Niche subjects are getting more exposure than ever before, but no one is actually doing anything. They're just satisfied watching dudes in their 30s/40s have hobbies on the internet instead

Been noticing a lot of God Hand threads recently, please tell me I missed some kind of small mention in the news.
Not that I mind. Decided to replay again recently and it took me about three weeks but I finally beat the gays on Hard, a real exercise in frustration, especially when it would be a few days in-between attempts.

Unfortunately it usually means a youtuber just released a video about it, but that doesn't seem to be the case this time since people aren't posting random memes and references to stuff that you wouldn't understand if you had just played the game but not watched the video

Drunken Master moves are a little too OP, the animations are so fun so I want to use them but for some reason it makes me feel like I'm cheesing enemies

How do I get good. I'm in the middle of stage 4 (or whatever the spider robot one is). I got to a bit with a bridge with levers. I got fed up and dropped the game a couple days ago.

It's in the sound settings for the plugin. It's the audio buffer. Turn it down a bit till you get a good enough delay that isn't super fucking long like the default.

Crowd control is probably the biggest thing to learn, the charged upper can launch several enemies and a follow-up tornado kick can break them up allowing you to focus the leftovers as the most basic example. Experiment with your combo and juggle the hell out of mobs.

I feel stage 4 is a pretty big difficulty spike. Before you could just go through the level and pick fights at your leisure, but stage 4 just throws group fight after group fights at you.
Also that mecha elite thug is a fucking pain

alright bros be honest with me. i only ever played first person shooters and crpgs. i decided to install it and start a run on normal difficulty. it took me 50 minutes to get to the two gay guys and beat them. is there hope for me in the genre or should i just get up?
