I was really enjoying Albion up until this latest patch. It was supposed to change the entire endgame, and it did... to nothing but ZvZ battles. Nothing like daily having your guild's hideout jumped by 300 fucking Brazilians every goddamned night and only keeping it alive because you bribe another massive guild to come help you fight them off.

Basically if you aren't in a major alliance, you lose. All territory is captured through open world ZvZ combat now, which is boring as fuck unless you happen to be super high spec into one of the like 6 weapons usable in ZvZ. Because of this any kind of solo/small scale PVP is gone because there's gigantic blobs of people roaming around ganking everything, diving into dungeons, killing gatherers, etc and you rarely get a fair fight.

I'm not super against them changing it, because before holding onto a Territory was dictated by 5v5 GvG battles which are great but you literally only needed like 15-20 dudes to hold onto 100 territories for 10,000 players, and they got all those funds dedicated to their gear so it was never a problem for them to completely outclass most lowbie guilds.

It's kind of at that point where I feel like they don't have a direction for the game and there's really no way to fix it.
