Hamtaro HamHam Heartbreak
Riviera the Promised Land
Golden Sun
Golden Sun the Lost Age
Megaman Battle Network 2, 3, and 6
Play the others if you really really want more.
Some obscure but still good games worth checking out:
>Astro Boy Omega Factor (Beat-em-up and shump fusion, one of the best titles on the system I feel)
>Wade Hixton's Counter Punch (Solid Punch Out clone, even has the stereotypes)
>Rebelstar: Tactical Command (srpg by the XCOM developer)
>Scurge: Hive: Essentially Metroid but with an isometric view
>Lady Sia: solid action platformer
Mother 3
you can buy cartridges with the english patch
BOKTAI
THE SUN IS IN YOUR HAND
Metal Slug Advance is really solid. No better than a 7/10 but it's visually impressive for the GBA (uses the same sprites as the classic arcades MS games) and tries some new things for better or worse. The story being that a training mission for rookies gets hijacked by the enemy is cool too.
kirby nightmare in dreamland
metroid zero mission
kingdom hearts com
yggdra union
super robot og taisen 1&2
riviera the promised Land
shining soul 1&2
castlevania games
metroid games

Why give some asshole money for one when you can just buy a flashcart?
The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age!
Sonic Battle
Metabots AX
Robopon 2
Pokemon (firered/leafgreen are good, emerald is the choice for gen 3)
Golden sun, FF1/2/4/5/6 for JRPGs (1&2 are on a single cart, very good), mother 3 with the translation patch if you're using a flashcart/emulating
Metroid zero misson&fusion for action platformers
The zelda games for action puzzle
castlevania for action rpgs
megaman zero for classic platformers
Megaman battle network for some interesting RPG mechanics
what sort of titles are you looking for, is a better question, cause there's way too many to list out and get all the good ones.
My personal favorites, and ones I'm playing right now are superstar saga, a mario rpg, advance wars, summon night (2, 1 is also good), boktai (have all of them on cart, I hear emulation is better now so maybe worth checking out), warioland 4, and ninja 5-0.
honorable mention to the gba ports of max payne and jet set radio, both very enjoyable games and different from what you'd probably expect.
>we will never go back to sprite art like this
>emulates too slow on the 3DS and Vita
>doesn't feel right on a wii
>phone doesn't have a gyroscope
I should just buy the game, but I've put too much effort trying not to.
ponying up $100 for an EverDrive-GBA has saved me from a life of emulation.
youtube.com
Reminder there's a 3d platformer on the gba.
what phone made in the past 10 years lacks an IMU?
get a 3ds and play rhythm heaven megamix and warioware gold
tons of great ds games too. im playing trauma center atm
Apparently mine has an accelerometer, but the emulator specifically requires a gyroscope.
There's a lot of 3D games on the GBA

Swordcraft Story 1+2
Golden Sun 1+2
Riviera the Promised Land
Is there any reason to get an everdrive over an omega?
Mother 3
Metroid Fusion
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
Legend of Zelda Minish Cap
Pokemon Emerald
Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green
Mega Man Zero 3
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror
Wario Ware
Wario Land 4
Pokemon Pinball
The Mario Advance series
Shrek 2(the movie)
The Sonic Advance series
Metroid Zero Mission
Mario Party Advance
Here's a "fuck you i like it" recommendation. Legend of Spyro - The Eternal Night.
The GBA version blows the fuck out of the original console releases, or just about any release at all.
Kurukuru kururin
Kururin paradise
Godzilla domination
Astroboy Omega factor
DBZ the legacy of Goku I&II
Elevator action old & new
Puyo puyo fever
Rhythm heaven silver
The Sims bustin' out
Megaman battle network series
>emulates too slow on the 3DS and Vita
The fuck are you talking about? It works 100% perfectly on retroarch
The original GBA had a great design, but without a backlight it doesn't really hold up.
CV: Aria Sorrow
CV: Harmony of Dissonance
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
sabre wulf
>tfw partners in time is 10x better than superstar saga but people don't have nostalgia for it
>CV: Harmony of Dissonance
>not CotM
Plebian, CotM is far better then HoD.
Super Monkey Ball Jr.
Special Forces Bioterror
Ninja Five-O
Medal of Honor Infiltrator
Baseball Advance
Most played GBA game of mine. Being 8, and having this was addicting as crack.
advance guardian Heroes
Buy a replacement lcd with a front light and pay someone to install it if you're not good with a soldering iron. Problem solved.
Why?
So that you can actually see what you're playing.
All 3 fire emblems
Castlevania Aria of sorrow
Megaman zero 2-4
Megaman battle network series except 4
Kirby and the amazing mirror
Mario and luigi super star sagas
Zelda minish cap
Mother 3
Golden sun 1 and 2
Golden Sun & Golden Sun: TLA
Wario Land 4
Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Zelda Minish Cap
these also:
fire emblem (the first US one was good, i never played sacred stones but i understand it's a bit nerfed)
advance wars
kurukuru kururin (i got my gba in japan when it came out and this + mario advance were the only two games i had for like 3 months before the thing came out in the states)
I always recommend the Lord of the Rings The Two Towers and Return of the King games for GBA. They're very solid diablo-lite arpgs.
Because the SP has a garbage design.
>Tiny clamshell shit
>Shoulder buttons are complete ass
>No headphone jack
once you add a backlight to the GBA it blows the SP out of the water.
>Because the SP has a garbage design
Based retard
it fits in yer pocket though
Not an argument.
Pocket lint fits in your shoulder buttons too screwing them up even further.
been a long time since i played these. fun stuff.
You are a fucking retard and you have shit taste. The only reason I can see someone hating the SP is if theyre a fat fuck with overly large hands. Kys fatty
i actually agree, i always preferred the regular design to SP, but mostly because button placement is a looot more comfortable. that being said, if you want a backlit gba, it's cheaper and easier to just get an SP these days
any adult would be at least a little uncomfortable with the tiny-factor
