whats another good weapon to go along with switchglaive on a magic build?

I never understood the need for a 2nd weapon type.

For different situations? I primarily use 2kat but switch to odachi to cleave mobs or snipe tall horns

>or snipe tall horns
I go high stance.
>to cleave mobs
I go mid stance.

first playthrough will be spear as always

2kat high stance is terrible for horn sniping and the mid stance is pathetic at crowd control

Mumyo is cute! CUTE! I want to touch her fluffy hair!

do beta codes work?

last chance demo codes?

Last demo should work.

It's more fun making a character yourself.

Not when you end up making a tranny after 3 hours. I wanna spend only about 1 1/2 hours for creating my character. My plan is like this on Friday
>let all the files download from 2400
>wake up at 0400
>fuck around with the character creator until about 0545
>get ready for work
>come back from work around 1730
>take a comfy bath
>order pizza
>start playing around 1830

Post the weapon skill lists I want to see if anything new was added between the beta and LCT

unless your an actual autist who can't into faces it shouldn't be a problem desu

I want close perfection or death.

Needs a helmet to match it, nothing does.

you had this game all along and rarely posted any shit. glad you shown you're characters face so we know who the faggot is

what makes the collar so stiff?

I'm a 100% certain we've already seen all the new enemies in the alpha/beta/LCT

this would be his time period so

We already know they added new stuff between then, and that the full game is going to have more stuff that wasn't in either.

AYO

I'm playing through Nioh 1. I spent half of the game just spamming R2 on my Axe and muddling through, treating it like Dark Souls, but I was finally forced to git semi gud to beat White Tiger and have switched to Solo Katana.

You can really feel how much this game served as inspiration for Sekiro. I wish I could set Guard to L1 but then changing stances might be a pain.

Trying to play without using the slowdown spell because it seems broken.

>spamming R2
For what purpose?

>mfw gakis

Sorry- I have Strong Attack on R2, Quick R1, like Fromsoft games.

not that user but i always try to cover everything using my 2 weapon types.

For instance 2kat/Kusarigama:
2kat absolutely erases Ki with God of Wind and Moon Shadow, but does minimal damage while doing this. It can do immense dps against immobile targets with Water Sword and is pretty good in 1v1 scenarios where you just want to hit and run with Sword of the Cross.
Kusarigama does consistently good ki damage across all moves, but it can deal good health damage while doing this, making it the better option against enemies with moderate/small openings that you can't quickly burst their ki down (such as Onryoki). Kusa is also a guaranteed horn break when using Crimson Flurry, high stance quick attacks or Renegade dragon and excels at keeping hordes of enemies at bay with Renegade Dragon and that advancing sickle spin they can do (forget the skill name).

I could use Kusa for everything, but 2kat completely beats it out in some areas so i'm just nerfing myself if i don't make use of it. I plan to use either 2kat/Kusa again or 2kat/Glaive because it seems glaive focuses primarily on health damage and has decent crowd control as well, keeping 2kat as my Ki eraser.

Ah, okay. I never bothered to change the bindings, took a bit of time to get used to them

Who /axe/ here

Attached: 1475182947059.png (413x352, 164.4K)

who kills him irl?

Attached: NiOh-2-10.jpg (1280x720, 129.5K)

that sounds horrible, but as long as it works for you. The game plays more like DMC/Ninja Gaiden than From games, even if they share many non-combat similarities.

I plan to pump stamina first because heavy armour so i'll probably try some lmao3axe early on before switching to 2kat/Glaive after a bit.

Thinking about going either 3axe full barbarian mode or glaive/1kat onmyoji

How does defense work this time? Is heavy armor worth it, like in Nioh 1 you could stack Damage Reduction % to absurd levels with set bonuses and essentially be unkillable except on WotN (and there it was the only way to survive taking damage outside of glass cannon builds that rely on revives and cheese tactics)
Or are we back to fashion souls retardation where everyone just wears light armor?

>that advancing sickle spin
You almost had it, Blade Spin. Whirlwind is also pretty decent at crowd control, and the followup does severe damage.

Nobunaga? He killed himself in the burning temple while Mitsuhide's forces closed in.

There are various conspiracy theories since Mitsuhide's betrayal has no known motive and he was killed before he could explain anything.

It seems to be exactly the same. Generally the ways to not die are Damage Reduction % (both standard and conditional), health + health regen stacking, attack debuffs, Quickchange revives + Chance to not Die, and stacking Nullify Damage effects. Naturally all of these can be stacked together as well.

In the cutscene you get after you beat him, you see him carrying Nobunaga's body out of a burning building, so maybe yes, we'll see him, albeit much younger.

Goddamn, how did you get an early copy 3 days in advance? Are you a reviewer? Or did you just manage to convince a store to break the street date? Please post more. Post the names of the main missions and the bosses.

according to the dubious translation of

4gamer.net/games/422/G042287/20200305093/

it's possible that human bosses will have a chance to drop unique skills (similar to how Izuna drop is a unique skill in Nioh 1), while yokai bosses drop cores.

I can never get tired of Backwave into Tempest. It's like one of the most satisfying parry animations in videogames. The clanging sound, the particle effects, the deflecting animation of the Backwave, the chad muscular pushing animation of the Tempest, the timing, everything just coalesces into pure satisfaction and fun.

2kat high stance, use Windstorm

Congrats you broke anything's horn.

Only issue is you have to take it over Water Sword which I dislike having to pick either or. I want both.

> take it over Water Sword
DROPPED

what's the point of 2kat if you can't ATATATATATATATATATATA

I hope they buff my boy Tengu, that air attack is the dumbest thing I've seen, who the fuck would even get hit by it? At least make the dive spawn shockwaves or something and make it faster.

It actually pulls you in if you're close enough, it's just the vacuum effect is really weak and doesn't have much range. If they made it a lot stronger but kept the range kind of short so you can still back up and shoot him then it'd be fine.

So did William want his Moth spirit so badly was because he couldn't part ways with ghost moth pussy? Understandable if that's the case.

Idk what they were even thinking with that attack, even worse it's the attack you get from the core

Yeah, it's baffling. When I first saw it, I thought it was going to track me like a divebomb attack. But then it didn't. So every time he does that attack after that, I just wait it out.

This is peak comfy

Windstorm while in stages, swap to Water Sword for a boss.

I don't do that because it always alerts the enemy I'm trying to hit, which sometimes means they'll dodge the iai as it comes out. Am I doing something wrong here? Is there a way not to alert them while charging up an iai?

Attached: iai alerts enemies.webm (1280x720, 2.6M)

not sure about 1kat iai but 2kat iai doesn't seem to have this problem

maybe it has to do with the multi-stage charge that 1kat can do

what if you're twice as far away?

Try spacing it a bit better, it has more range than that so you can move further back. Though for Yokai you could also use Night Rain, or with any other weapon use the proper backstab for the extra Ki damage.
