bros they'll never be anything like it ever again
i miss zero and ciel and the others bros
i miss them so much
What are some other platforming action games like the zero/X series? I don't get the feeling that dashing and shooting all over the place gives on any other game
What the fuck was his problem?

Everyone one complaining about "leaps of faith" in the factory mission. Pick a timestamp where you think there is a leap of faith. Or stop being bad at the game.
Only if you start talking about the games.

Maybe it'll release in the next decade
Until then 20XX is bretty good at least
>tfw finally beat a boss only using Ashe's human form
Reploids don't have nipples, user.
If Megaman is X and Zero is Z, then who was Y?
Try Luminous Avenger iX and Copen's gameplay in Azure Striker Gunvolt 2.
(You)
Yaxl
Notice that the bottom row of your keyboard reads ZXCV.
Also note that in Japan, Weil is called Dr. Vile.
But who's B?
Booty
Gameplay wise the closest thing to MMZ is Hollow Knight
So who is C? Roll? (Because C-word)
Colbor
Zero 5 with HD graphics when?
Ciel you secondary piece of fuck
Still bothers me that she's never been shown or directly mentioned during ZXA...
Looks like the ship crashing into ouroboros was a more important plot device than her presence in that regard.
God I wish that were me
I feel like i'm not understanding Zero 2 ice psychics correctly because i keep fucking up the jumps
If you're on the first ice stage, you need to manage your momentum.
The controls aren't as tight but I agree. Empress from DMfD is probably the most similar to Zero in that regard but the rest of the game isn't like MMZ at all.
and (You) as Mega Man X
An alternative is using the chain rod to get over the spike pits.
>take tight platforming action and add awesome art
>jam it into a latency filled online grind fest
Is it ever coming to pc?
I'll probably get a switch eventually, but I wanna play with my genesis controller
How long would it take me to beat every Gunvolt game?
I'm getting used to the chain rod too since using these cheap controllers tend to fuck me over, good thing is i'm already at the boss now
I just do a full dash before jumping. If I'm somehow not doing a dash jump, there's time to turn back.
If you're just playing the games to get through the end, not that long. Longer if you play for score.
Define "not that long"
There are only 3, they are all easy, and pretty short so probably a day.
Like, an hour each. Two tops. They aren’t that long.
I have about 200 hours of pure RNG frustration on that game. The grind is just painful.
Might happen in the near future, next update is probably the last.
I appreciate the booty and the Zero/ZX collection is one fine ass booty to get your hands on.
Ahem.
Final and most important question: Are they good?
If you just want to see the endings then a bit over an hour for each game. There's nothing stopping you from turning prevasion on and running past everything except your pride.
Two bad memes in one. Impressive.
>This collection flopped hard
That anime does look like ass. Yet why are you talking about it here my guy?
Yeah. If you don’t care about scores, not many things will kill you normally because of an item that consumes mana to protect health. The catch is that for the True End, you won’t be able to use that for plot-related reasons on the last stage, so relying on that means that laziness will come to bite you in the ass (and did for me).
The plot is pretty nice too, though the writers are obsessed with bittersweet ends (tending to bitter) until the third game.
Then where the fuck is my physical copy? There should be plenty around.
Don't spoil bruh
Explain how to get the true ending in detail pls
>until the third game
I mean if put aside that it's the bad ending timeline and everything that was done to Copen's sister then yeah sure you could call it a bit less "bitter"
I love both series but this made me laugh
There are 7 jewels scattered through the stages, you need to give them all to Joule for her to make you a jewel necklace and wear it through the last stage never taking it off. The game knows if you switch it out and back, so no trying to outsmart it.
The problem is Joule will be unable to gift it to you in the first playthrough, so you have to go through the normal ending at least once.
You have to get the Dragon Balls/Chaos Emeralds hidden in each of the 7 main stages. Note that you can't get the good ending the first time you play the game for story reasons, you always have to see the bad ending first.
>The problem is Joule will be unable to gift it to you in the first playthrough, so you have to go through the normal ending at least once.
Goddamit i thought Inti learned from the whole "play ZXA twice to get the true ending" thing. Also, why is Luminous Avenger called Gunvolt Chronicles and not Mighty Gunvolt?
Fuck i meant Azure Striker Gunvolt
Nono, you don’t need to beat the game twice. You need to beat the last stage twice, just that. No going back all the way to the beginning.
ez pz
Spinoff set in another timeline.
>You need to beat the last stage twice, just that.
phew. Guess i know what i'm doing after i beat ZXA
You only play as Copen in iX. No Gunvolt.
Can anyone try to explain how the warp/teleportation system works in Megaman Zero? (or Megaman in general?)
In the very beginning of Zero 1 Ciel throws a line after Zero saving her from a fall that she wants to find a Trans Server to the resistance base, Zero 1 kind of tries to sell this idea of connected world map, so maybe is that's why they did it like that, but yet in Zero 2 you have characters teleporting to areas more like in the Classic/X games, in the mid-point Stage of the game (the aircrafts, which I reached for the first time a few hours ago) they seem to be using a "portable trans server", so, did the resistance base have scouts to leave these portable trans servers around for Zero to teleport to? Or is it actually more like a missile of energy that sends Zero (and other characters) to the desired place? Is the reason why they can't teleport to certain places because the enemy bases have a range of signals to block the teleportation zone?
>save assist
webm discarded
>I can barely get through while perfectly avoiding every enemy
Fuck you
You do know about making lava slower and the fast charge chip right?
Not sure how that's even a factor
It’s implied everyone has a transserver in their bases, the catch is having the right coordinates and bypassing the security protocols. It’s why they can’t just teleport you straight into Copy X’s room and why Neo Arcadia doesn’t teleport a bomb inside the Resistance’s base. Some missions in Zero 2 were about collecting those coordinates and passwords for example, and Elpizo does on his own by scavenging Neo Arcadia vehicles.
