I think there's other 3D printed parts you can order for the rest of the G305 shell... can't say I remember where they were specifically, but that might net you an extra 3 - 5 grams of weight saving. I'm assuming you got that shell from Thingiverse or something, so you probably already know what I'm talking about. Have you replaced the 50M Omron switches in them?

I had a G502 a few years ago, and the scroll wheel was annoyingly loud and started to rust eventually. Does anyone know if that is still an issue with the newer versions of it?

The scrollwheel on my mouse is all fucked, sometimes it misses scrolls, sometimes it scrolls in the OPPOSITE direction to where I'm scrolling, I need a new one very soon. This one and the last one I had were both E-Blue Cobra 1600DPI, I like them because they have a simple mousing speed button adjuster and two side buttons to the left, but I'm considering getting something with more buttons, maybe both for the thumb and fingers, any recommendations?
I actually prefer wired mice by the way, even if it can be a pain sometimes. Anyway, since it's been a long time, I'm not sure what's really on the market.

Mate, I use epoxy resin almost every day laminating carbon-fiber and a carbon-fiber alternate using a similar method to how they make these mice. Your buttons will begin delaminating in under a year, I guarantee it with how thin they are.
