Am I supposed to mash triangle in savage axe mode or alternate between upswing and the double hitting single phial use attack? Am I supposed to keep my shield charged or nah? Am I just supposed to stack crit but ignore crit boost, or max out the relevant element skill? Just used the silver rath CB on BV vaal and the damage didn't seem great.

I started wearing full Shara A set because it looks really swank.

But it's also kind of not bad skill-wise? It's not perfect, obviously, but it's certainly not awful. I haven't noticed any significant decrease in my ability to hunt, nor any slower or more difficult hunts while using it.

Yeah it has Coalescence. I don't know the damage on it, but for any monster that shoots fire it's a pretty solid damage upgrade with decent uptime.

I'm not much of a min-maxer or a numbers guy, I just like comfy hunting and I like that the set looks nice and isn't garbage, even though I planned on wearing it before I knew it wasn't garbage.
