Because people want to play on the systems they like, the games should go where they want to play them. I can play Horizon 4 on my One X and my PC and the experience is seamless. I think a better question would be why would someone with an existing high end PC buy a console? But that isn't exactly an xbox exclusive question.

Playstation is still stronger with Japanese support than SeX. It's really the last obstacle Phil needs to overcome to make Xbox better than Playstation. With specs and price, they have already Sony beat. And even more so with BC going back three gens.

I know many who jumped ship from xbox to the ps4 who are quite excited about the prospect of buying a new console that not only plays the next amazing games to come out but also everything they missed from xbone, all their old 360 collection and has game pass. Right now unless sony starts showing something you are going to see a very large amount of players jumping back to xbox.
