Nothing good ever came out of sequels to FF games. FFIV After Years was unneeded, all the later FF7 shit that started with Advent Children was dumb, FFX was complete and didn't need X-2. Dumpapples are fine, they're pretty largely irrelevant for the most part. Angeal could be decent if reworked. Genesis is pretty irredeemable since 90% of his dialogue is LOVELESS. He has like one decent scene where he is telling Sephiroth about Jenova and that's about it, and only because he's not spouting LOVELESS every 2 lines.

Dirge of Cerberus was kind of ok. Worked as a B-tier shootan action game, and the story tie ins to the original game were ok. Expanded on Hojo and Hades nicely. PreOp Vincent in the tutorial was
a nice touch too. The only truly terrible parts with the story were the ones that tied into the other stuff in production at the time (AC/BC/CC).

Angeal could be okay if you rewrote the entire later half of the game desu
