I never found that to be the case, though keep in mind Bowser is also considerably bigger then the usual fighters. Honestly the only gripe I have about the reboot was some of dialog with Lakitu and Rawkhawk dragging its feet a bit. Mario's finale rush on Bowser mid air with the cape is also fantastic, Id like to know where he got the audio for Mario yelling

I'll reserve judgement until we get to see new Mecha Sonic in some real action, Alvin basically spin the old sprite into liquid gold with all the crazy shit he had it do. Although the new one does give me some real Mega Man X vibes and Im not sure how to feel about it

This series was so kino in almost every aspect. Any attempt to reboot or try something similar just doesn't match the same level of purity that the original had. I wish the original had at least ended on a less cliffhanger note so my best friend and I would've worried less and took every bit of hearsay as gospel of whats to come.

That’s my only complaint as well. Dialog going on a bit too long was always the show’s main problem.
It’s been a lot of fun but if we go too long we’ll deteriorate into a general. Sometimes, dead is better.
