I actually liked the new games (although I thing each one was worse than the last), but Shadow didn't have wonderful sales and there's been no news since it came out, so I think it's gone back into hibernation. I like nu Lara, but I do hope to see the old one back eventually.

They're good games but bad TR games, never have I actually seen a character and gameplay changed so much from their original incarnation and still called the same name. At least in the first game we thought she was only going to be like that in just that game, they even teased her getting back dual pistols and supernatural shit returning at the end of TR2013. But then two more games pass and she stills stealthing around with a bow and its just obvious they have zero intention of ever giving fans what they want or actually evolving this character in anyway resembling the old one. Hell they even PATCHED OUT the post credit scene of SOTTR on release day that actually hinted at her becoming the actual Tomb Raider in the future even hinting at her getting the invitation from Natla that led up to the plot of the first game.
