Since these threads have nothing new to talk about in relation to RoR2 until 2 weeks from now, I want to talk about DEADBOLT and there's nothing you can do to stop me.
Do you guys expect Hopoo to ever touch the universe it's set in again? He said he would be willing to do a graphic novel to expand it but I'm growing doubtful that he will.

A: DEADBOLT is probably the narrowest design space I’ve worked with – there’s no dodging, insta death, insta travel attacks. By the end I felt very stretched out in terms of enemy design, and for that alone I’d think 3D. But hey, I may also just hate 3D by the end of RoR2 so who knows :^). I’d love to do a sequel one day, most likely from the perspective of Ibzan. But who knows!

There's a fairly active steam workshop for it with custom maps too if you're into that

Engie, definitely. REX can't heal other people with delicious fungus, and he can't give other people a safezone. Just be aware that when you're playing engie, you're not really playing RoR, you're playing dodge like a retard while your turrets do all the work.
