She's best girl in the game, she has a lot of personal character development. I don't want to give too much away if you haven't played but pre-timeskip she blames herself for everything and hates herself and then post-timeskip she realizes she was taking her life for granted and puts in more of an effort to stay positive. She's not just magically cured of her depression but her attitude becomes more "I don't like this but I won't run anymore.". She is very good

That's one thing the game handled right, no one is magically "fixed" of their troubles in the timeskip. All of them simply find a reason to continue on despite things being horrible because they find a higher purpose than simply being.
