Guys, I recently got a switch. I just want to dabble in save editing for Pokemon at the moment. Anyone got a good place to start?

I've never really played Pokemon online. The last Pokemon game I played was Platinum back in like 2012. I used to have a couple of programs that I compiled to pretty much edit the whole game in a way to change evolution requirement for Pokemon that could only evolve on trade or really trivial conditions. Change the Pokemon that would appear on the different routes and add the ones that were from other Gens and otherwise not attainable unless you had other games. Just basically making it so I wouldn't need any other people to play with.

Either way, I'm enjoying playing legit since its the first time I've played Pokemon seriously in almost a decade. I just wanted to see if there was some save/game editing software for when I'm done with the game, and restart a fresh play through with changes. Guessing that stuff isn't as easy nowadays.

Units with the exploit patched started coming out in mid 2018, so..

its actually worth it. It took atmosphere over a month to update their shit to the previous Switch system version. meanwhile it took the SX team about a day to update.

Only thing is that SX doesn't allow OCing, nor is XCIs supported on tranny/HBGshop. They're pretty easy to make yourself though.

I use SX. I dont have their dongle though but the main reason people get the dongle is because all they have to do is turn the switch on and plug the dongle in and your switch boots into whatever CFW you have it set as.

you wanna know the reason why the exploit got patched out?
A group of people found out about the RCM exploit and tried to keep it hidden until Nintendo released the whole entire switch family so the exploit would be on all of them. However, There was a tranny in the group. Rumors say she was gonna get kicked out the group because she wasnt participating or doing much work. Because of that, the discord tranny got assmad and flamed the chat. The discord chat flamed back. SO the discord tranny ran to nintendie's bug bounty program and told them about the exploit. Then as the discord tranny couldnt keep her mouth shut about it, the chat eventually found out about it cus she told someone. Everyone in the group tried to make a twitter and post about the RCM exploit to try and get some form of recognition for it. The tranny also tried to do the same thing. Then nintendo made some bullshit argument about how "it wasnt our fault, it was Nvidia's fault", they made a loophole so they didnt have to pay the tranny for posting about the bug.

So, the Discord Tranny ended up not getting any money from nintendo, got assblasted across the internet, and probably lost all their internet frens.

So if your switch is patched, remember, it was an unironic discord tranny's fault.
