That's about 35 minutes of digging, tops.

Based retard

based efficiency iv user

That looks cool

Make a water slide that leads to a lava pool

Autist genocide when? They only make boards more shit, except for /sci/ and similar ones.

is this what autism looks like

cool bro

minecraft gatekeeping are we

A day lasts 12 minutes in minecraft

>didn't even make it look fancy or appealing by building a wood structure around it
fucking casual

Repeat this cycle for literally 10 years

Make it bigger

did they change the stone texture?

dig the whole map now.

yeah, lets start right now
with you

1.14 changed the stone texture along with a lot of other textures.

>gatekeeping
fuck off with that reddit shit. thats the only place i ever see faggots say that dumb trash. cant even go on a competitive games reddit and talk about the fucking thing without some retards saying that shit

that move was really what made me totally lose respect for the current devs. The game's look is fucking iconic and the changing it for no reason is just trying to flex on notch and erase his legacy from the game.

Build a castle over it. Thats your storage basement.

But I'm not autistic though, it's usually fairly easy to tell, so the fact that you are failing so miserably tells me that you actually are on the spectrum too.

I once spent months building a utopia for sheep on some random fucking server. It's still there to this day.

I've been there before user

thats adorable

The new textures are awful as well, netherrack and obsidian are sickening to look at.

>days
as in minecraft days? no way it took you days unless you have 10 minutes on the computer rule or some shit

I once did this on a friends world
He made me and 4 others dig a 100x100 hole down to bedrock and only gave us stone picks and would hit us with a stick if we slacked off

How long did that take? I've done 16X16X10 before with stone solo and it took a while.

at the very least they should keep developing the 'programmer art' alongside their new artstyle, it becomes more and more unusable as they add new blocks that don't fit in with the old style when you have it enabled. It's an artstyle that was able to make a block of dirt iconic, I don't know who thought their new shitty texture deserved to replace what was in the game when it became the second most sold game in the world.

>tfw remember when I used to be able to program turtles to do this in about an hour.
>tfw remember that turtles, alchemy, and basically anything fun are absent in Ftb that existed in Tekkit.

fpbp

imagine not excavating with TNT

>t becomes more and more unusable as they add new blocks that don't fit in with the old style

This is the problem I have with every new update with Minecraft. Every new shit they add, the less it looks like Minecraft and more like some fan made shit that they stole from some RPG mod.

shut up lewis.

I've been using the programmer art, and it made the game much more bearable but I haven't figured out how to get the developer art mod to work

I unironically prefer strip mining in minecraft than spelunking through caves.

What are you fucking nerds building RIGHT NOW?

HOly fuck does anyone have a server with computercraft enabled? I just want to program computers again.

This.
I like cave exploration for a little while, but eventually I want to just be able to make something with what I have without "Oops, forgot about the lapis, oops forgot about the gold" etc. etc. etc. for hours.

turns out "placing the pack over the other one" means literally slapping the assets folder of one mod into the other, can't believe I didn't figure this out earlier
Pic related, going to get it to height 200 then top it off. I have no idea what I want to do with the top of it.

Make an underground city

You have to go back

kill yourself

TNT is literally worthless in minecraft though

And this ladies and gentlemen is why i don't play FtB, compared to Tekkit it is kind of boring.

No retard
When you open the resource pack screen it shows you a list of all the resource packs in the folder
When you move them into the column that activates them, the ones that are on top are loaded AFTER the ones that are on the bottom, so their assets override those of lower packs.

Is Feed the Beast still the most 'popular' minecraft modpack? Is there a way to find out which mods the latest version includes?
I was interested in Project E (The equivalent exchange mod) the most but idk where to find it anymore in the popular modpacks.

Could be Duncan.

That's because project E is broken as shit, whether because mod creators don't bother adding compatibility or because there's no fucking way to balance it properly.

TNT drops every block you blow up with it now, but for ores and shit it's DEFINITELY useless since you could just go for Fortune III.

Reddit karma is worthless

Fuck.
What's the most popular mod pack, then? If I were to join a ftb server, what mods would I expect to see the most of?

got it now, thanks user
I saw a pack that said "programmer art" not realizing that it was a default minecraft pack, and thought it was only loading one pack and not the other. I had them in the wrong folder.

This is the most reddit thread I've seen in a long time. Leave.

reminds me of when i went on an autistic binge and just started mining chunks to bedrock.
completely lost track of time. only stopped when i realized that i could stand in the middle of it and no longer see any normal chunks within draw distance. i have no idea how long i was doing it for.

>Brother is one year younger than me
>I'm 17 at the time
>Watch him toil for hours strip mining in Minecraft
>Feel really bad for some reason
>Suggest he try some other game out since I have tons
>He shrugs and wonders what's the problem

Seriously though, man, I'm getting real tired of these games where it's shit like... Mindless busywork for the sake of doing more mindless busywork "more efficiently". You have shit like RPG's where you're grinding to progress, Monster Hunter where you're doing hunts over and over, and whatever, but that's all still "progression". It legit saddens me thinking of people who just play games or watch movies or TV shows just to waste time until they have to work some more.

Minecraft is fun.

Agreed. That's just trannysoft for ya, I guess
