project cars 2 is pretty coole, wish it had more cars though
>Game is unique and executes its unique features flawlessly
>Retards who never played it complain about it
>Genre fucking dies and we end up with nothing
>Youll be able to legally import a Nissan GT R34 Skyline in a couple years
Bros theyll finally go down in price i hope.
>Bros theyll finally go down in price i hope.
sweet summer child
GTR a shit
Supra a cute
I mean considering it took 25 years for importing them to be legal again, theyll probably cost the same or less than they are now. Theres only so many in the US so of course they cost 50k or more.
Test drive unlimited is coming back at least.
>racing game
>only 1 playable car
>it never breaks down
>meanwhile opponents always breaking down
why were they illegal to import?
>Youll be able to legally import a Nissan GT R34 Skyline in a couple years
Wait what
Demand will suddenly skyrocket, and so will the price.
You cant certify an imported car in the US until its 25 years old, so the GT R34 will be importable soon.
A few slipped through the cracks back in the day cause a company acted as a middleman certifying them and paying the expenses.
THIS
Were amerifats denied importing it? Why?
based Sega GT 2002
At least for japanese cars, im not sure about other countries cars like germany.
>racing game
>tries to be as realistic as possible
why can't we have something like nfs underground nowadays i loved that "gamey" aspect of it
I wanna drive a 240sx
Something about R32 and R34 skylines not passing the US standards when it came to emissions and crash tests. R33 Skylines are legal in US as far as I know. The company that imported R32 and R34's to the US faked the tests and used R33's instead.
>Theyll finally go down in price I hope
are you dense
>game doesn't have shitboxes
i'm tired of sci-fi lambos and knight rider porches
For me, its Forza Horizon 4 with anime liveries
Didn't pass emissions.
A lot of cars met the same fate. Fun fact though, the Supra was toned down to meet emissions for the US and it wasn't very hard to revert it to original Jap specs, but the state would crush any cars they found that did that. Sad to see.
Test drive used to look like such a cool racing game to me but then forza came and did everything better and now I doubt test drive will be able to match forza because they're on a roll with horizon 3 and 4 and I'm expecting 5 to be absolutely fucking awesome
Why are there so little games with Camaro SS.
also gonna buy one, they arent that expensive to my suprise.
>game features cars doing very uncarlike things
Same here. Also wish we got more truggs.
If you want tiny shitty cars then the Initial D game on PS2 is perfect
>what is fh4
Has all of that and more
the boomers are already getting the vacuum sealed garages ready for the R34.
Yeah, I love F-Zero X.
Because american car manufacturers were afraid of losing sales so they lobbied the government to add an import ban on non-us vehicles.
You can still import cars, but you have to go through a bunch of bullshit to get it street legal. So its possible, but its very costly.
OR
You can import cars that are older than 25 years old and those cars will be exempt from all safety and emissions regulations. Unless you live in California in which you are screwed. Also Texas still requires that you do a safety inspection once a year if you plan to register it for road use.
Whats a vacuum sealed garage.
Is that what Jay Leno has for his car museum.
>Racing game has your real life car trim notwithstanding
Lexus and Mercedes were big players in that because their cars aren't considered luxury elsewhere, so they don't have the ridiculous mark up that makes it cheaper to buy them out of county and import them.
>Sir step away from the clown car
I wish multiplayer races didn't force you to drive fastest classes. It's main reason I stopped playing.
Also, lack of text chat and broken voice chat on pc doesn't help either.
you would think the country where people are living like sardines would have stricter emission laws than usa
>The chad Hummer H1 Alpha
>It literally has Alpha in its name and is the best model of Hummer to this day
The emissions laws aren't actually emissions laws the stuff we have less tolerance for is less harmful than the stuff we basically let slide and is cleaned up by the environment quicker. They're to keep imports from gaining too much of a market share because domestic cars haven't been worth shit since the mid 90s.
You talk to people in racing games? Everyone just drives off.
The voice chat works for me because I constantly get people breathing into their mic. Maybe you need to adjust settings or something. Possibly xbox live privacy settings on xbox.com
>guzzles gas like your mom guzzles cum
>screams "midlife crisis"
>bad aerodynamics
>sluggish
>ugly
Oh it's only going to get worse. I expect entry prices for a GT-R to be in the 50k range once they are legal. Doesn't help all the dragtards are going to hack them up and butcher clean examples like they are already doing with the R32-33 many places in Japan have started refusing to work with exporters because the prices are going up in Japan due to mass exporting. Bet 2024 onward would be a good time to pick up a R32 though probably a lot of them are going to turn up for sale from people wanting to buy an R34.
>R33 Skylines are legal in US as far as I know.
Until recently when they started hitting 25 years old only a few that were imported by Motorex which was a special case. They were importing cars and made around 100ish cars that were US compliant. I forget the exact details but they basically weren't doing things right and the government took away their importer status. Rather than investigating or seizing the cars they did import and already sold they sent letters to the owners stating their cars were legal and they would not pursue them just due to the circumstances of motorexs closing. Due to this legal status motorex cars usually bring stupid money easily 100k+
Emissions and crash testing. The RB was never emission tested or and the car was never crash safety tested. Just you wait if your a eurofag the new EU emission standards are on par if not worse than California Emissions. Don't be surprised if they start cracking down on importing non compliant cars. It's already having a major effect on European car manufacturers.
>mfw own a W221 S65
>M275 V12 in it is an amazing engine
>Mercedes released the final year of the S65 in 2019 and the V12 is most likely going with it
Porsche almost had to kill off the their 4.0 flat 6 in the 911 GT3 due to emission but Porsche refused to let it die and found a way to get it to pass new emission standards.
I need a woman who will touch me like Doug touches a car's knobs and switches.
>2005 ford gt
Quality taste.
>Doug will never tell you about the climate control panel on your air conditioner and give it a doug score
Do the eu emission laws really matter if Im still going to drive my hiace until it stops working?
I guess they could make diesel illegal or something.
>that one racing game that was actually really good but nobody ever took it seriously enough to give it a chance
What's her name, Yas Forums?
Joke's on you, he already did mine
He didn't like it
>R34 are illegal in murica
Holy shit, I never knew. Those are fun cars.

>this triggers the Americuck
The fucker driving that death machine actually walked out fine
Why is it so cool?
>yo user, nice ride!
>Still the only minivan to exist that has back seats that rotate a full 360 degrees
>I guess they could make diesel illegal or something.
Some countries are trying so eventually it might. A few european countries already have plans in place to ban the sale of all new ICE vehicles within the next 2 decades. So far it's only new vehicles in most places but the Netherlands is trying to fully ban ICE vehicles in Amsterdam. That means you would be forced to keep your older vehicle on the road for as long as possible unless your willing to buy an electric car. Wouldn't be surprised if some countries find ways to accelerate the process of removing older vehicles from the road.
>Also Texas still requires that you do a safety inspection once a year if you plan to register it for road use.
Many states requires safety inspections for all cars.
What a great birthday. Lets drop a formula 1 engine on a minivan.
Nah there was a similar crash at the Nürburgring involving a GT-R that happened a few years ago. Car went flying off the track in a similar fashion and hit a spectator killing them but the driver walked away fine. They put a lot of development time into the safety of race cars because they know this kinda shit can happen.
What DID they mean by this?
>sluggish
yeah sure, those things could climb trees if they wanted
Didnt they have this in some GT2 too?
Yes.
The French, and more specifically Renault, used the excuse of the Espace’s 10th birthday coinciding with a decade in F1 to bring the two entities together, in the absurd, brilliant form of the Renault-Matra Espace F1.
>Supra
Ahhh yes, the poor man's Skyline.
wrckfest is currently my favourite racing game and the fake volvo is the best car
youtube.com
he always walk out of all his crashs
what's a good racing game on PC to play while listening to eurobeat?
I wish Project C.A.R.S. 2 had more regular cars.
Though I'll never see my car in any new game.
How good is Wreckfest, really? I keep seeing it around but I'm not convinced.
