yea, thats quite good, but otherwise, with doors and whatnot, wooden especially, it makes no sense when you have a thing like a sword even. It just removes immersion I would say. Stupid doors, and stupid keys for those doors.

And most games rely on such stupid mechanics. That make zero sense in real life standards. And I bet if someone introduces such a mechanic they will be so butthurt about their keys, that they give the door like 200.000 health, when you gun does like 50 per bullet lol. When in reality, a doorlock of a wooden door would have 200 at best.

The problem that game designers have when they are designing a hero, is that they dont know what it is like to have firearms, explosives or magic in a more practical sense. If you could generate a giant popsickle of ice and hurl it at another person...would it make sense to not use it on a locked door instead of looking for a fucking key in a dungeon?

These game devs are normies in their blood, they encounter doors in real life on a daily basis and that is why doors are a fearsome enemy to them. Not to be trifled with. Such things are reflected in the games that they make

Currently playing metal gear rising. It's fun that raiden can't even open doors, or ninja run fences or whatever, he always just slices them down.
