You now realize with the PS5 releasing later this year and Part 3 releasing in 2024 at the soonest, that everyone who buys this game next month won't be able to complete Final Fantasy VII without buying a new console.

I can't wait to see how low the user score will get on metacritic. There's a of normies out there who don't realize this is only a small part and not the whole experience.
Why not? They did dual releases for MGSV.
MGSV released within the first 2 years of the PS4. Not 4 years after launch.
And this is already giving Square a huge benefit of the doubt that 1) they will only milk it to part 3 and 2) They can release it regularly 1 part every 2 years.
Nah, I can just slap another GPU in PC and keep on trucking.
Part Two may get a dual release but Part Three? You're nuts. And shit they might even release a Part Four.

Final Fantasy VII Part 4 PS6 Exclusive
First off, all parts will be on PC eventually so who cares. Second, who the fuck isn't going to buy a PS5? Are you poor or something?
It happens, but it’s not something I really care about. Everything is gonna move to next-gen, best I can hope for is that parts 2,3,4,5,9 aren’t timed exclusives as well. But this game is going to sell a retarded amount of copies so Snoy just might pick up Part 2 while they’re at it.
The only winning move is not to play.
No there aren't. A very small amount of people will buy this game and be surprised that it's only Midgar. Likely in the single digits and their IQ probably is too.
Or you could just buy it on PC
It'll be 3 parts. It'll be finished by 2026 at the latest. After this first one sells millions Square will get their shit together and pump out the other two.
It's worse than you think.

>Buy a PS3 to play FFXIII
>Have to buy a PS4 to play FFXV
How is this any different?
Because they're wronging me by not supporting my old outdated hardware. Technology should stop advancing because I'm poor.
There will then be a brief 5 year development hiatus before the disc two content starts being released

The third part of Return to Midgar will be released sometime in 2085, playable exclusively on IBM quantum home console, and the three parts of that adventure will only retail at 49.99 rather than 59.99 each for all other parts as a tribute to loyal fans.
Square already confirmed all of their upcoming and future titles will work on PS4 and 5. They will not be releasing a PS5 exclusive game for a long time.
>5 years of development
>h-here's the first 15% of your game bro
Fuck
don't forget
>Final Fantasy VII: Episode Yuffie
>Final Fantasy VII: Episode Vincent
and eventually
>Final Fantasy VII: Bombing Mission Reforged
where they slowly start to remake the remake, even slower this time
Don't worry, the final encounter will only be three titles and should be totally finished by 2090 at the latest. It will be a quantum streaming vr mmo, you won't even need a console to play it, it will be sent straight to your eyeballs via your neuralink social cloud brain connection, all for the nominal bargain fee of £2350 per month (adjusted for projected inflation, minimum 3 year contract). Those who say FFVIIR is a cashgrab are just retarded poorfag meets.
advancing in baby steps for 600bucks is not the answer

Yuffie is in the Wutai Wanderers DLC and Vincent is in the Shinra Mansion DLC. If you don't want to pay for the DLC its fine the characters will still be in the game as unplayable party members. Also, if you go to Wutai without the DLC Yuffie can still steal all your materia but won't be found in the town, people who refuse to pay up can backtrack and buy new materia. I can't wait till 2045 when this section of the game drops.
>You now realize
The hell you mean now? It was always fucking obvious. Like did people honestly think they'd stifle the next parts full potential by making it so it could run on last gen hardware instead of making use of making full use of the next gen hardware?
>Square already confirmed all of their upcoming and future titles will work on PS4 and 5
Source?
all of you remake fanboi fools..
What fucking potential?
The open world
there will be no part 2. you kill sephiroth after the bike chase.
you should be punched in the head.
Kill yourself
suck my fat turpentine soaked shit log, faggot
Part 2 is going to be next gen exclusive, that's why it's stupid people are rushing out to buy a PS4 for part 1
It's also why Sony is being quiet about the PS5, they want to sell the last of their PS4's
midgard is not big enough for one game only are they fucking stupid?
PS5 disc size is twice as large as the PS4's and the console is going to be way more powerful too. Part 2 is going to be PS5 exclusive so they can make a massive world they couldn't do on the PS4. So are you ok? Are you scared? Why are you so mad?
>Part 3 releasing in 2024 at the soonest
I doubt we will have to wait that much for the rest.
Bet the will make an announcement for the next part on april.
>Are you poor or something?
Yes
Gibe monies
>I doubt we will have to wait that much for the rest.
Yeah they have the have a lot of ground work now for the next Part. Still I think it'll be 3 years minimum for the next one.
There’s a full interview somewhere out there.
I'll just wait for the PC release.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 1: Remastered Chapter One
guys I think the first part is too wholesome
FF7R New Threat when?
>3 years
I still doubt it, my bet is at one per year in three years minimum for the whole game
Apparently the remake is not getting in their way of the next FF’s development so it shouldn’t really matter if they churn out new FF7 remakes on the side.
>my bet is at one per year
Now way that'll happen. These parts are meant to be bull sized FF games there's no way we'll be getting those one a year.
There was news recently that said that with the backwards compatibility not necessarily they were gonna maje part 2 and onwards for next gen
They have already begun work on part 2. The dev team is not taking ANY breaks inbetween releases, so I’m betting on a new part every 2 years. That being said, the quality of the games will most likely suffer.
>That being said, the quality of the games will most likely suffer
I doubt that cause they're not going to be released that fast. Again they said the parts are going to be full sized FF games. So why would they be releasing them so fast where the quality would suffer?
Because they are desperate for something negative in the whole episodic release
>people still think it's going to be completely separate games, not DLC expansions
Why are you people so goddamn stupid?
Because Square Enix is literally crumbling. Before the remake was announced, they said a FF7 remake would only happen if they were in financial trouble.
retard
>1/3rd of the actual main story script
>Because they are desperate for something negative in the whole episodic release
That's it
>Because Square Enix is literally crumbling
No it isn't
Square Enix's excuse is that FFVII's story is too large to fit into a single game, yet somehow it wasn't too large for a single game in 1997.
Literally and unironically: no u
Do you see 'part 1' or 'episode 1' in any of the advertising or packaging? No, because this is the game. Just like how Pokemon is finally is finally ditching 3rd versions in favor of a $30 expansion, the rest of the story will be included through downloaded expansions. It's the simplest and most logical way to further the story, especially considering that your save file will need to be continuous across them and you will need to be able to return to previous areas in the game.
Well it has more lines of dialogue than any other entry alone.
>If we were to try to fit everything from the original into one remake installment, we would have to cut various parts and create a condensed version of Final Fantasy 7
They aren't even including extra content to pad it out in that statement. They claim the original experience alone is too big for a "modern" game.
