I don't get it. I've played it. It's whatever, pretty fun for a few hours. Insanely repetitive. What's the big deal with this game?
Based and gabepilled
how is gta5 still so popular?
Same desu. I couldn't even play for more two or three hours.
That people clearly like multiplayer games.
I own a handful of those games but dont enjoy or play any of them
fun fact - multiplayer games are not worth your times unless you're planning to go PRO
>80k tf2
God damn valve wants the game to die already and it has way more player than almost all mmo's.
never played ark survival evolved before, is it like monster hunter world or is it actually a survival game?
Wow, it's almost like casuals have shit taste in vidya or something
This is an arbitrary statement based on your feelings though.
>ark
>rust
Look I don't want to talk shit about something I don't understand, so I'll just ask In case there's someone who plays this shit: why? What's the appeal?
casuals
>All Multiplayer games
I hate modern gaming
It's like Rust with dinosaurs. Open world crafting survival game. It's janky as fuck. My friends made servers for it but I never really got into it. Those kinds games are meh
No that's a factual statement.
>ark
Doesn't that game beats GTA IV as the worst optimized game of all time?, do people play that shit at 15fps or what, considering the average steam user has a low range pc.
Not him, but not it isn't. Multiplayer games naturally have less content, and unless the dev keeps patching it inifinitely, the game will eventually get stale, since your fun depends on other people.
Based and Redpilled.
Prove that multiplayer games are a waste if you aren't going pro using facts then.
It's picked up a lot I think, wasn't it much lower about 2.5 years ago?
It's a game designed for losers with an inferiority complex. Also Chinese hackers have destroyed every official server.
Online with different modes where you can mess around with your friends.
If you've been playing Ark, Rust, TF2, or GTA for more than 3 years straight you're a certified third worlder, chink farmer, or pant shitting autist.
If I have fun for hundreds of hours playing a multiplayer game, then it justifies my purchase. That's just my opinion. Kind of like "no multiplayer game is worthwhile if you aren't going pro" is also an opinion, not a fact.
Normalfag games. The only one of those I've played was GTA V on launch, and it was the PS3 version. The others are generic microtransaction-inducing online games.
It's mostly bots.
This. If you come across anyone who still plays ark just laugh at them.
roleplay servers. every big streamer on twitch was playing them a few months ago.
It's a zoomer world
You're a braindead knuckledragger if you actually play multiplayer games for hundreds of hours, save for hardcore games like SC:BW or whatever.
Easy
Story modes are non-existent or simply trash with very few exceptions
Progression system is artificial and If you're not getting noticeable better at the game you're not really progressing anywhere
Replayability and your enjoyment of the game depends on people you're playing with and how they perform. And since average player is a dumb motherfucker chance that you're going to be disappointed is pretty high.
Play good solo player games and stop being a faggot
Tried getting into Destiny, but just throwing right into the shit was a bit overwhelming.
im glad Siege is doing so well. i remember the first few months after it came out when it only had like 6,000 players some days. it really struggled early on.
I play singeplayer and multiplayer games though. I can't even imagine why you'd think people are only allowed to enjoy one thing, user.
Your arbitrary definitions of what is "hardcore" (lmao hardcore, really?) are largely irrelevant though.
>ARK
why do people still play this piece of dogshit?
>multiplayer games aren't clearly divided in casual and hardcore games
Alright, smashie. I get it. Go shower.
Did I answer your question? yes
why are you switching topic all of a sudden?
I guess you will never stop being a dumb faggot
>r6 siege
its free weekend
>tf2 in the top ten after 13 years
How did they do it? How did they make a multiplayer fps with so much staying power?
yeah sure okay gabe
it struggled cause it was shit and still is, except its 7 dollar shit so people buy it.
You make a shit game cheap enough eventually it'll look good because of the price differential
Sunk cost fallacy.
When you spend 1000s of hours raising dinos how could you ever quit?
Only subhumans still play Ark.
Why is csgo really popular again all of a sudden?
>shitting on tf2 on Yas Forums
fuck off back to the Yas Forums subreddit
yeah your sacred cow is rancid shit now. f2p was the end. I get you love your epic gmod videos and hilarious crabwalking spy but we're both not 14 anymore
chinks have started picking up the game
youtu.be
I didn't switch the topic. You brought up single player games and I assured you that I also play those. The other "points" are your feelings about multiplayer that are in no way binding. I don't have to agree with them.
I can bunnyhop in Quake, I don't give a fuck about your gookclick, nigger.
I dout you even play Quake, smashie.
fun fact, mp games are fun
How about this, post YOUR most recently played games
>Insanely repetitive
It is if you're garbage.
Who gives a fuck what games are being played on steam. I haven't opened steam once this year.
>> Pretty much normie games
It's heaven for anyone that likes being competitive.
There virtually isn't any skill ceiling, so you can keep on improving forever.
Also, tricks and freestyling is fun
MonHun sits at around 130k on peak hours
it's the super mario 64 of wacky sports games
hacker chinks with a sprinke of hats / 10
PC gamers are actually low IQ simps with shit tastes.
They stopped maintaining it so now there's literally thousands of bots and hackers infesting servers and ruining the game for everyone.
god forbid if you ever look up the most sold games on consoles
I'm quite sure COD and sports games sit at the top on console
PC has a plethora of affordable and fun multiplayer games that don’t have very high hardware requirements, people flock to these games because they are cheap and fun and most of them run on toasters. Consolefags are starved for choice, it seems.
so why are single player games worth your time if pro gaming is all that matters
it's soccer or football if you aren't a burger but it has rocket cars - think of all the people who like soccer and then add in a rocket car multiplier and you get a decent number of people who want to play it - also it has crossplay and was given out to xbros and sonybros
How is pathologic 2?
