Cygames could so easily pay for one of those steam store banners. At least Xsneed are doing some streaming event today, but really that is just going to be people who know about it looking. It is so frustrating seeing a game with good casual appeal not have ads up on every site. It legit does not tale that much work, pay some random big streamers to play so they can gush about wow it is so easy and RPG mode is fun.

In RPG mode Chapter 3 which island should be cleared first? Was expecting one per chapter so two opening up was surprising.

Like, nobody's """bad""", but the game has more than a few 7-3/8-2 matchups and it's a truly miserable experience if you want to play characters on the recieveing ends of these bad matchups. I play Lowain and I fought a Lancelot in the NY lobby last night, he absolutely smothered my character there wasn't shit I could do. I almost won all four games, but he got me last minute everytime. Motherfucker was teabagging as if he accomplished something by beating my LOWAIN with a TOP 3 CHARACTER. Like, Lowain isn't terrible, but his matchups with Lancelot and Ferry are so fucking awful that it makes me not even want to play him. He's fun as fuck but those matchups are incredibly stressful and really common in A-Rank. I told the faggot I would be back to mirror match him one day, you're not good you cocksucker you're being carried by baby's first Setplay S-Tier.

Anyway yes I mad, I've been playing fighting games online since HD Remix I haven't gotten this mad since UMvC3 easy. It's a pretty good game but you can be an absolute brainlet and still get carried by top tiers in ways that just wouldn't fly in other fighters. On the flip side, characters like Lowain and Vaseraga can only win through complete mental domination or matchup inexperience.

Lowain is actually good against ferry
Lancelot players eat glue and mash which makes it easy to overwhelm people online. Make liberal use of your 1frame parry because 9 out of 10 lancelots mash on wakeup or oki. recent patch buffed Lowain's summons so they only go away when hit directly, not when Lowain gets hit so smash out the bros when he tries to approach

Hard Mode Vaseraga and Ferry have been kicking my ass.

Holy fuck the RPG mode is so bad. Because of the turning you arbitrarily lose your inputs if you don't abuse input buffers. It can even fuck one button inputs if you aren't already in the middle of an auto combo.
Character bosses also break all the fucking rules of the game and get to just hit through everything getting to interrupt you no matter what unless they've been hit into the air.
Everything is based on weapon grid autism instead of any kind of skill. Even character levels don't matter because it's all weapon grid.

protip, use phalanx against character bosses because it gives you armor
the only dumb fight in RPG mode imo is bahamut, and that's because he has multiple unavoidable projectiles that even when blocked inflict you with defense / attack down.
Other than that, Bubs' fight is kinda cancer too when he does his super that has the unblockable sawblades
