Your trades are bottlenecked by an arbitrary limit based on mr, lots of things in circulation are only a dozenish plat (not much) unless its meta, while literally almost everything in the game is time gated and has a price tag to speed it up (except for standing). There's boosters, mats and other things for sale, equinox takes almost a full week to build without rushing it. Lots of f2p games do this thing where the game intentionally introduces annoying ass problems and sells solutions to them, and Warframe entirely is the image of that (everything has slots, some things are obscenely grindy, trades are limited). A player that spends money will get access to higher level content, better plat farming and will have much greater convienience than a player who doesn't with similar time investment (caralysts. I get the game is f2p, but there's a certain point where the monetization is too much. I can agree with cosmetic things, but anything progression based actively makes it worse

They made it addicting enough for people to spend literal consecutive hours doing the SAME shit to get some bullshit parts. It's crazy. And they keep adding currency on top of fucking currency. Warfarm is real. Steve admitted this shit but they haven't done shit, and instead have made the issues worse. Their new melee update is also stretching the play-time as much it can, because the melee system makes it so that you can do combos and shit- in a game where the meta is to get things as fast as possible(which isn't even "fast", it's fucking hours of grinding). I'm pretty sure their codex won't be fixed for this exact reason- getting the player confused and increasing the playtime by proxy. Shit relies on the fan wiki, which a lot of players don't read. A happy accident in their case I suppose. Thank fuck I got out.
