PAYING $1k FOR A TECH DEMO

what made the doom2 SSG so fun was that reload. Whipping it around, the clacking of it opening and, loading, and closing. It was aesthetic and the power was every bit as satisfying as the cooldown between shots. Hell, even the regular shotgun reload between shots was relatively satisfying and made waiting between shots worth it.

the quake shotguns just sorta sat there waiting to reload, and it made you really cognizant of how 'gamey' it was.

>slower for VR
That's kind of a gross simplification of Valve's new design ethic for VR
They're focusing on making dense granular gameplay instead of WOOHOO I NOSKILL BUNNYHOPPED PAST ALL THE BLAND SCENERY JUST LIKE I'VE PLAYED EVERY SINGLE FPS FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS
Granted it's not for everybody

>fuck you and your forced teleport
t. Chinese shill that didn't watch any of the gameplay videos

House of the dead/Time Crisis are the best arcade games.

>exploding barrels are now considered bad game design

they're simps
plain and simple
