Is Dragon Quest 11 a good JRPG? Plan on playing it soon

Does Zelda count as a JRPG?

Yes, it's fun

No

It's pretty good outside of combat, yes.

because JRPGs sexualize women (and men) too much and focus little on writing a good story

Trash at making build for OP-related game so I was grinding levels. Then MHW released an event and haven't looked back.

its tough as hell but i like it

Because I supposedly made it to the least fun part of the one I'm playing.

Because I just beat FF3 (the DS remake), so I feel burned out of JRPGs at moment.

Because I'm not 12.

name a single game where this is true

The combat is good though

I played Dragon Quest 11 like 6 hours yesterday and like 3 today already and I'm getting a bit burnt out. I'm trying to plan some more rpg's to play and so far I got mana khemia, Labyrinth of Refrain, Summon Knights: Swordcraft Story and Kamidori. I also really liked Ryza and am hoping to get the Dusk of Arland collection on sale on the Switch eventually.

Alright, recommend me one.

Kill yourself incel.

but I'm playing xc2 and its a masterpiece.
I'm at the beginning of chapter4, chap3 was a rollercoaster, got stuck for a while in Uraya, then got Adenine and Nim after the boss fight.
its just so good and somehow I like Pyra even more now.

It isn't bad, but it's very barebones compared to other modern JRPGs.

Maybe it's you focusing too much on the sexuality part?

>because JRPGs sexualize women (and men) too much
and that's a good thing

Just beat mother 3, didn't understand how the Magypsies had access to PK powers without being one of those starving Mewtwo aliens though

I did
I opened up The Alliance Alive again and crushed Grossa Radan in the museum at the beginning, ending the game. Turns out Armed Intervention there is MUCH stronger than when you fight him at the end, so you have to tank it with a shield.
Then I went back to a secondary save and solo'd the final boss and radan with only Robbins.

I'm playing Neptunia Re Birth 2 and it's pretty fun.

Playing Titty Monster Dungeon Crawler. Truly the pinnacle of Eastern interactive story telling.

my personal goty

finished Labyrinth of Refrain so I started on Mary Skelter

Because I don't like turn based combat and most JRPGs are turn based.
Anyone got a good recommendation for a JRPG with complex branching dialog, not turn based, and with a good story?

What's the longest JRPG?

I was playing Xenoblade Chronicles X just a while ago

>complex branching dialog,
none of them

i need to cooooom aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Playing Valkyria Chronicles 1. It's a good game but I'm having a really hard time with the gameplay, operations are way too long

I’m on my third playthrough of TWEWY and having a blast
Also, I can’t get enough of this song

Use orders more, they’re really overpowered

>really hard time with the gameplay
Protip: use orders and scouts

How is 2?

This is really fucking long, like 300 hours

I'm replaying the Wild Arms series.

I wanted to play this but I can’t stand games with female-only cast

I've been getting into FFXIV more than I expected, does that count?

You can give them all the Washboard trait on their underwear and pretend they're all traps.

Is 2 actually good?

That’s not the issue here

I like it a lot so far. They've fixed almost all the issues I had with combat, it's much better balanced and boss fights are pretty good. Story's good enough too so far and the atmosphere is much better than in the first game. It also looks like there are more endings that probably depend on what you do throughout the game and how many supporting characters you save, but I can't be sure yet. My only issues with it are terrible character writing and pretty boring dungeon design.

i'll probably start smt iv tomorrow for the first time

>terrible character writing and pretty boring dungeon design.
fuck, every time compile heart makes a game it's a monkey's paw scenario

It's fucking great, just don't give up on the tutorial dungeon since it's surprisingly difficult

Does Code Vein count? I'm aiming to get all the endings and I'm on my third run; I just fought Aurora.

Go play a WRPG, fag.

eh.

I didn't like much anything about it at all, and is arguably one of the worst localizations ever, but on all points including the last it can be interesting enough as a curiosity. I'd struggle to call it bad, but good?

I don't play trash games

Because I have a fucking tiny brain attention span nowadays and can't finish anything. Still have to finish Vesperia HD, rest of 3H routes, Disgaea 5, Banner of the Maid etc but a new JRPG to start up sounds more interesting. Someone hook me up please and tell me how
I can stop being a fucking attentionlet

Is Fairy Fencer any good? Thinking about getting it.
Also, Alisa best girl.

I want to play one but I don't know what to play. What do you guys think about Octopath Traveler?

I am currently pretty far into each of these 3DS games but did not finish, either due to not beating a boss or not being able to make a decision (or simply forgetting it).
Which of these should I finish first?
>SMT IV Apocalypse (right at the end of the Cosmic Egg. Lost motivation because of the choice and the fact that the bright red egg was significantly less comfy than the darkened city streets)
>Persona Q2 (Mr. Bear ticket before Doe. I've beaten Mr. Bear before (risky) but I want to beat it with the underleveled ticket cast)
>Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker (technically beat it twice but never finished it on my main file)
Also Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which I dropped at the beginning because of the camera controls.
Or should I start Etrian Odyssey V then Nexus?

Have fun, its a terrible smt game but alright persona game
