Nioh is 70% off steam, buy it you faggots, it's one of the best games I have ever played

I played it with a X360 controller and handled fine.

There seems to be a surge of reviews and forums posts about the game crashing or chugging at 10 FPS.

Already put 300hrs into the ps4 version. Its a fantastic game but im not buying it twice.

Working fine with DualShock 4 here, just enable PS controller support in Steam settings.

Playing Nioh 1 again and yeah, yokai pools are much better balanced and it's mostly because you can't cause ki damage while they're in a pool so when punishing enemy attacks that create yokai pools there are the options of "Cause max damage but no ki damage" and "Do smaller punish to purify yokai pool faster and possibly do some ki damage if there is enough time". It's a lot more interesting of a dynamic imo. Not to say I want Nioh 2 to get rid of new mechanics I just wish Nioh 2 reworked yokai pools to match all of our ways to fuck yokai ki up and especially revert the change where we can do ki damage while they're in a yokai pool...

That's because you tried to play it like a souls game instead of striving to hit perfect ki pulses mixed with situational stance changes/skill usage and keeping your aggression up constantly.

This game is closer to the fast paced gameplay of NG than the slow pace of souls shit. Obviously it's more grounded than NG but it has plenty of acrobatic shit reminiscent of it.

Also, Team Ninja has pretty much confirmed they're gonna make a new ninja gaiden but it probably won't go into development until after Nioh 2s DLC has finished idk

Will they ever bring NG Black on PC? I only have a 360 and I don't want to pay for an xbone just to be able to play that game at 1080p and there's no emulator that can play it yet.

I never was good at the combat (used mostly regular middle stance attacks, high stance against certain enemies, ki pulse and living weapon when needed) and still enjoyed the shit out of the game.

Maybe you already realized it but I'll still tell you; when she flies, get under her. After a couple seconds she'll dive towards you; dodge and then hit her. It will send her flying and you'll be able to punish her a bit more and get more amrita for LW.

You can sprint while locked on. Just run away and poke her in between moves. Shoot her out of the air if you want, or just get under her until she feels like coming back down.
