I don't understand why they can't just let experienced players start off at level 30 or something. Experienced players are going to come from playing their 50+ character on BL2 and a big chunk of BL3 first playthrough is going to be super boring in comparison.

No, i think the problems with the character are essentially correct, she is poorly inserted to replace Maya and Lillith as the new Siren face of the series due to having a cheap actress who demands very little money for now. The writing is very much on the wall what the intent and behind the scenes workings are.

By that logic, Jack was a Gary Stu then? Tyreen is the central antagonist and is effectively delusional enough to think the entire plot revolves around herself and has the Siren capacity to do so to think so. The one flaw she had was the understated fact that she couldn't charge Vault keys due to her powers, only take from them, which is why she was always on your tail and it really goes underwritten in the story.

He just gets a high on life because he gets Maya's Siren powers and jumps in bed with Aurelia, that is literally it, you are just exaggerating something that was there from the start because he starts to shine more so in the second half.

Can't argue with this, she has been presented and portrayed as very terrible throughout the series so i'm sort of happy they're doing away with her after all this time.

Maya was a boring non-character, I don't really care what coomers think of her but typically killing two established characters to replace them with a new one is liable to be a highly controversial move.

All those other things you mentioned are equally obnoxious if not worse, not to mention how 90% of all circumstances in this game could've been avoided if our character actually intervened in cutscenes instead of conveniently being ignored like the death scene of the obnoxious midget guy where we could've easily killed Tyreen, so too for Maya as that scene only plays explicitly after you leave the vault to enter the room it's taking place in.
