Legit question - in Xenoblade 2 (I think) there's also an auto attacking system, right? With options becoming available after some time passes. Would it work the same there, killing every boss without pressing buttons, or does XB2 do something to avoid that?

I'm not that interested in the game, but isn't this only a bad thing for people who wanted a turn-based experience out of what is clearly an ARPG? It's a shit thing to make Very Easy an option and call it "Classic" but did anybody really expect them to make a full-blown turn-based system on top of the action mechanics?

Unless you're way over level or over geared then most fights, boss or not, deal too much damage and/or have too much health to idle damage race them. Enemies also move around, and positioning matters depending on your passive skills. I'd say it's possible in theory to beat the game without pressing anything during combat, but I'll not be the one to start spending time trying to prove it.

Kids. Yas Forums is overrun with fags that don't give a shit because mods don't give a shit nor does anyone else around them. I actually got shit recently for complaining about someone directly linking to fucking reddit. I know Yas Forums has been dead for years by this point but I'm always surprised by how it keeps getting worse and worse every year.

For one thing, it would take a hell of a lot longer. The game doesn't auto heal you either, so unless you're the tank to end all tanks you're going to want to use commands to either heal yourself or kill the enemy before it kills you.

No other options become available to automate actions.
If you are overlevelled, want to take 5+ minutes to beat every trash mob and don't fight bosses you could auto attack some fights though.

I mean half the catalog is full of plebbit pics at all times and they easily reach 300+ replies every time. And it has been for a long time.

So don't play it on classic mode.
Why is the idea of others putting less effort into a game and enjoying it so upsetting to you people?

this was my fear of having classic locked to easy mode.
i was thinking of going back and retrying classic mode after my normal playthrough, just to see how different it is, but didnt want it set to easy mode.
but if it really is possible to beat even bosses on easy mode with just attack mashing, then theres no point to classic mode.
